For a crappy job on your potty problems, call Ken's

Where do I start? Ken's did my seasonal switch-over to heat & in the middle of the night I woke up w/freezing air blowing through the heater vents. When they finally showed up a day & a 1/2 later, they discovered that the guy who had done the switch-over had slammed the wiring for the pilot in the door & sliced the connection. It took another day after that to get them to come back out & fix it as they did not have the part w/them & they charged me for it all! The next seasonal switch-over was to summer. They told me I needed a new swamp cooler. I purchased one from them & one week and $2000.00 dollars later I got a flooded upstairs where they had connected everything. After months of attempting to get them to fix their poor work, they finally came out & flung some paint around the downstairs ceiling to try to cover up. After another few months of asking that they fix their original blunder plus the sloppy mess, they began refusing my calls. They are not who they pretend to be BEWARE

A Great Company! Took care of all my problems.

I am thankful for Ken's and would use them over and over again. I highly recommend this company. Ken's came out replaced my water heater to a tank-less water heater and now I'm on my way to saving money. While they were there they checked my furnace and cleaned it. They have great customer service and great people working for them. I have since use them and will continue.

Don't do it! Call someone else...

If you have been thinking about calling them, take this into consideration: Kens was the installer of the heating/air conditioning unit in our new home in Los Lunas in 2009. They have been called out multiple times to honor their warrantlies and every experience has been horrible and a nightmare. The office/account person in the ABQ office will laugh in your face about the your problems with their work and the honoring of their warranties. The GM is grossly incompetent and believed to only be in that position by family relation. Now that the home inspection and purchase agreement/warranty is going to expire, we will NEVER call on them again. We recommend never never never NEVER call on this company, you will regret it.

They did the heating/air conditioning in my house in Rio Rancho built in 2009. The AC did not work from the start. They sent a guy who badmouthed his coworker, the original installer, and then spent four hours fixing it, mostly on the phone to someone who was telling him how to fix it! It worked one summer, is dead again this spring. The receptionist is brusque if not rude and does not return calls when she promises. My programmable thermostat could not keep its program, they replaced it once with the same thing which also did not work, they were unable to produce instructions for using it. I have given up on them entirely. Call someone else.

Very bad service :O(

I had called Ken’s Plumbing and explained my problem to them over the phone. They made it sound like they new exactly what the problem was and said they would call me back. I waited for a couple of hours and had to call them back. The dispatcher sent a plumber out and he showed up about an hour later. He looked at the work and said it was going to be a difficult job and he had to go back to the shop. I waited another couple of hours and did not hear from them. I ended up calling them back and the dispatcher said it was going to be a difficult job and they scheduled me an appointment for 730am a couple of days later. Well when the day came for the work to be done, 730 am came and went and no Plummer showed up. I waited till 830 am and called again and the dispatcher said they would send a person out right away. At 10 am no Plummer ever came by and I ended up calling and letting them know I would go with a different company. I called Copperstone Plumbing. Copperstone Plumbing sent out a Plummer right away. They gave me a quote and ordered the parts and had the work finished all that same day and for 100 dollars less than the quote of Ken’s Plumbing. I would not recommend doing business with Ken’s Plumbing.

Ken's Plumbing was the plumbing and air conditioning contractor when our house in Rio Rancho was built in 2008, and we've had one problem after another. On several occasions when they came back to fix something, they caused even more problems. When we found a water leak on the weekend, they refused to come to the house to fix it, and we were forced to hire another plumber. I wouldn't trust these guys to hook up a garden hose without screwing it up. Save yourself a lot of grief and find someone else for your plumbing and air conditioning needs..
