In 1987 Dr. Edward J. Cooper, MD opened our clinic after first losing 65 pounds. The diet program Dr. Cooper used to lose weight and keep it off for the remainder of his life is the same program the clinic uses today. The clinic's diet program is a physician-supervised program which uses appetite suppressants in conjunction with restricted calorie and fat intake. Dr. Edward Cooper's wife, Dr. Bonnie Cooper, PhD is the nutrition specialist. Her nutrition orientations are free of charge to both new and returning patients.
