He is highly experienced, teaches at major dental and medical conferences across the country and is a UCONN Dental graduate which was the best and most rigorous dental school in the country when he graduated. Dr. Peltzer goes above and beyond to help his patients. My mother had a very bad dental infection over Labor Day weekend and did not have a regular dentist. The hospital advised we call Dr. Peltzer as he was known for excellent care and Dr. Peltzer worked closely with the Hospital of Central Connecticut Anesthesiology Dept. We called Dr. Peltzer on the weekend when it's normally impossible to get a dentist and Dr. Peltzer returned our call promptly. He listed carefully, asked a few clinical questions and agreed to come in on a holiday weekend to help my mother. A few days after Dr. Peltzer's emergency treatment, my mother was as good as new and the infection was gone. We later found out Dr. Peltzer was an oral surgeon and dentist anesthesiologist with a caring manner and great staff as well as a heck of a lot of advanced education. Now we refer all of our friends and family to Dr. Peltzer since he's that good. Highly recommended.

Dr. Peltzer is great at bringing together a wonderful group of people who want to work with him. Dr. Peltzer himself is gentle, caring and highly skilled. Dr. Peltzer and his great staff truly exceeded even my fussy requirements for a healthcare provider. The office was clean and friendly. Dr. Peltzer was soft-spoken but confident in a friendly way and I really liked him. His credentials and training are incredible and the staff was telling me he even teaches dental anesthesia at the dental school. His treatments for me worked out great, were painless and Dr. Peltzer showed he was genuinely concerned for my comfort and feelings. What a GREAT dentist and office!

Dr. Peltzer helped me in my time of need and even worked through his lunch time to painlessly relieve me of my toothache. I had not seen a dentist in years and I neglected my teeth. Dr. Peltzer carefully examined the problem, asked me about my symptoms and suggested two alternative treatments with their pros and cons of each treatment. He never judged me and never made me feel guilty for neglecting my mouth. Anyway, he fixed the problem in a very friendly and professional manner and now I'm starting a gradual plan with Dr. Peltzer to get my mouth back into good shape. Highly recommended.

Thomas Peltzer DMD is my favorite dentist. He transformed my previously ugly front teeth to beautiful crowns that look so real no one can tell the difference. I get comments like "wow, your teeth look great! What did you do?" I had all this done with sedation dentistry as Dr. Peltzer is incredibly good at this. I had tried sedation at a different dental office in Southington, where they simply tried using pills to sedate me. What a joke that was...Dr. Peltzer is far more proficient as a Dentist Anesthesiologist to comfortably and safely provide sedation with an IV which works much better and is much safer.
