I have been treated for the past 5 years for pain after an injury at work -which lead to 5 back surgeries. I have scar tissue that is attached to and surrounding my spinal nerve and is inoperable. I have chronic pain in my back and down both legs. I disliked my primary workers comp doctor. I felt like I was begging for drugs - nothing is worse than that! One of the only good things that came from him was the referral to Colorado Rehabilitation. I have seen Dr. Oeser for the past five years and I feel that she has taken the time to understand my pain management issues. For every office visit I fill out a pain survey and it is always discussed. There is nothing more draining physically, mentally and emotionally than chronic pain. I can talk with her openly about my pain and how it is affecting all of the parts of my life. There is a big difference between people who have to take narcotics to have any kind of life and someone who has a drug abuse problem. She has never made me feel like I am begging for drugs. We have tried many different medications or pain and the insomnia that the pain meds create. I recommend Dr. Oeser to anyone.
(P.S. I also have a spinal stimulator which feels like an internal tens unit. it doesn't treat the pain but it does cover up some of it. Dr. Barolat is absolutely the best surgeon I have ever had- look up the Barolat institute)

This place is not patient centered at all. Was given a survery to fill out with my 1st visit on my thoughts about my visit. Never given the survery again wish I would have been given the survery again. Was never asked about my pain level except on a paper which was never gone over by the Phys. Assistant. I would be asked to fill this pain assessment for every visit, but it was never talked about why my pain level was so high and what we could do to control it. Waste of 3 visits including a nerve study. My pain was never controlled or a plan was never talked about how to get it under control. oh and they took "a guess" her words on what was causing my pain.
The PA was more worried about my pain pills and how I was taking them. What she never bothered to ask or understand was they were not working...has she ever had any training on psuedo addiction? She should be working in a in paitient drug facility instead of working with people who have REAL pain not an addiction.
On their website I do not see that her degree has anything to do with helping people with chronic pain instead something with chldren and their throats?
Sounds like they are after workmans comp case $ instead of treating a patient. My condition is not even from workmans comp! If you are a chronic pain sufferer please look elsewhere for help!
