Dental Examination
We truly believe that regular dental examinations are important in order for your child to have good dental health and a smile of which he or she can be proud. We start by doing a professional cleaning, removing all of the bad tartar and other buildup on your child’s teeth.

Teeth Cleaning
We recommend routine dental cleanings for several reasons. When we perform a professional cleaning, we remove the buildup of plaque and tartar. We also clean the parts of your child’s teeth that are hard to reach, such as underneath the gums.
Fluoride Treatment
It is also important for children who are growing to see the dentist regularly. We like to professionally clean their teeth, removing all of the tartar and plaque that may be building up. We then polish them so that they shine. For most children, we also offer a fluoride treatment, which helps their teeth continue to be strong.
Dental Sealants
Here at All Kids Smile Pediatric Dentistry, we are proud to offer the very best dental care to our patients. We are proud to offer sealants for this reason.

Resin Composite
Dental fillings are used to treat different dental problems like cavities and broken teeth. Teeth are usually filled with a material called composite resin, which is designed to look like natural teeth. Fillings can also be done with gold, porcelain, or silver amalgam.
Crowns
Knocked Out Permanent Tooth: If you child has knocked out his or her tooth, try your best to find that tooth; during your appointment, we will do our best to restore the tooth, assuming there has been minimal damage to the tooth. Please be sure to handle the tooth by the crown, not by the root. It is crucial you do NOT clean the tooth with soap or scrub or handle the tooth unnecessarily. Inspect the tooth for fractures. If the tooth looks in tact, try to reinsert it in the socket. Have the patient hold the tooth in place by biting on a gauze or clean cloth. If you cannot reinsert the tooth, transport the tooth in a cup containing the patient’s saliva or milk, NOT water. If your child’s tooth has been knocked out, he or she must see a dentist IMMEDIATELY! The longer you wait, the lower the likelihood the tooth can be restored.

Root Canal Treatment

Orthodontics
The American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) recommends that children visit an orthodontist as soon as their dentist notices that there might be a problem or before they are seven years old. We may not have to do anything at this age, other than monitor the child’s mouth. However, if we continue to watch your child, we can start treatment right away!
Braces
The earlier we catch problems with your child’s bite, the simpler they are to fix. The results are often better than if we wait and require less work. We may not need to keep braces on your child for as long when they are younger, which means less expense for you.
