The service manager called me with price to fix my SUV before work was done, Cost was what they told me,and he even text me when it was complete, pretty neat. The problem was fixed. Clean shop. polite people.

i am an ase certified master technician who took my driveshaft to chicago driveline to be repaired due to a slight bend in the tube. i was told it would be inspected, an hour later i got a call saying i needed 3 new u joints and a center support bearing $288 and that was even before they could check it for being bent(the problem i brought it in for) i declined the work and stated that i just replaced the u joints and bearing and knew they were still good and was told that that was the way they did it and if i didnt like that i could leave. i even went as far as to request the person working on the driveshaft to show me the loose bearing and damaged parts and was told he was out on lunch and nobody else could help me. they tried to scam me for $288 and when they found out that i knew what i was talking about they basically told me to leave and refused to repair the problem i came in for. so beware of theese rip off artists.
