Mi Zacatecas

This is a great Mexican foodie restaurant in American Canyon. The service is five stars, the food goes to "11." We need this restaurant in American Canyon, and I hope they're around for a long time! If you love Mexican food, you can't go wrong with Mi Zacatecas!

I love Mexican food , especially the Mexican food that is prepared at Mi Zacatecas. The chicken torta is very yummy. The chicken torta also includes lettuce , avocado , jalapenos , and onions . Some people don't prefer the jalapenos in the torta, but the jalapenos give en extra flavor to the torta. For dessert , I prefer the flan . The flan is sweet , but not that sweet ; it's not cloying. And if it is your birthday and you go to Mi Zacatecas , they give you a free flan ! I love this restaurant . This restaurant deserves two thumbs up .

I am in love with this place! the food is awsome and it will not break your pocket book. A beautiful family owned restaurant where the food,service and atmosphere come together very nicely. I live near by and all of my family members love to eat there. I have pretty much tryed everything on their menu and I have never had a bad dish. I guess if I had to pick a couple of the dishes I would recommend the Chile Verde, Camarones ala Diabla, Chicken Mole Enchiladas and ofcourse the Tacos Al Pastor or Carne Asada and on weekends I love the Pozole or the Huevos con chorizo. I work in San Francisco on the weekdays and I am spoiled by San Franciso's restaurants so when Mi Zacatecas opened a couple of years ago and we started dining there we felt very happy to have a nice family restaurant with great food in town. On friday nights they have live music and the Trio plays old style Mexican ballads from the likes of "Trio y los panchos" and they will play anything you request.



I look froward to my Friday nights after a very long commute, I eat well at Mi Zacatecas and I have the Trio playing their guitars and singing some of my favorite songs. Both my heart and stomach are satisfied. :-)
