I would rate no stars if I could

worst place ever, they charged me for work they never did and charged my insurance company as well. they left me in so much pain with no offer to provide me with a script for pain killers. they are horrible. don't go there.

This place is terrible. They ...

This place is terrible. They will try and sell you dental work you do not even need. I promptly left and went to another dentist with an actual private practice and he said everything they told I would need, root scaling and planing, cavity fills, were not truthful and that I did not need any of those things. I cannot believe these people are in business.

These people are the worst. All they do is try to sell you on dental work you DON'T NEED!! Their ploy of the advertised $59 cleaning so they can get you in and then upsell you on services you don't need!!!

When you decline their services, they do a rush job on the $59 cleaning so they can get you out of there as soon as possible so they can get the next VICTIM in the chair. I WOULD HIGHLY AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. GO TO A LOCAL PRIVATE PRACTICE DENTIST THAT IS NOT PART OF A FRANCHISE OPERATION.

Their "rush" cleaning they performed was not really a cleaning. It took them about 10 minutes. What a rip off. JUST READ ALL THE OTHER REVIEWS ON THE INTERNET ABOUT THEIR UPSELLING TACTICS.

I agree with everyone else on ...

I agree with everyone else on the upselling. Their REGULAR rates are 2 to 3 times the regular rates everyone else is charging. Then they try and get you to sign up for "their own plan". So you pay a yearly fee and you get their discount which brings their rates down to what every other dentist in the US charges regularly. So on top of "their plan", they get a yearly fee out of you.

First visit. $55 cleaning. Then was told for cosmetic reasons I should get my crown redone (the upsell). Like an idiot I agreed not thinking this was just an upsell. Crown gets done. Crown is not test fitted. Crown is cemented on FIRST. X-ray is done AFTER and shown the crown is not done properly. Test fit should be FIRST, then XTRAY TO SEE IF IT FITS, THEN CEMENT. So I am asked to come again.

Wait two/three weeks. Go back. Crown gets drilled off. While drilling, my tongue gets cut 1/4" deep. I ask the dentist to stop and ask why they did not stop and asked if my tongue got cut. The dentist (Katy Buss, the dentist I dealt with all this time) question was "you felt that?". To this point I'm trying to stay calm. If it's a mistake then okay, but don't keep drilling and me having to ask the question. Crown gets made. Crown is test fitted this time and checked with x-rays. Crown doesn't fit properly. Crown gets put on as a temporary.

Wait two/three more weeks. Go back. Crown gets made again. This time I'm being told my gum line needs to be lasered. Gum line gets lasered. Crown gets put on. I'm looking at the x-ray. The crown is NO better than the old crown.

Their reasoning in replacing my old crown was there was a ridge hangover toward the front of the tooth. The new crown has a ridge hangover in the back. MUCH MORE DIFFICULT TO FLOSS THAN THE FRONT. This was all due to an upsell by your $55 special teeth cleaning. The crown isn't any better.

My "lasered" gumline did not grow back as much as should and I was told it would grow back.

This is supposed to be about health care. But again, this is a franchise and their goal is to make money over anything else. Next time, go to a private practice. They have much more to lose with bad service.

I told them I was not signing up for their "club plan" and then they tried to charge me their full regular rates. I was seriously shocked. Did they really thing I planned on coming back for more future dental work after this? Why would I want to sign up to their "discount plan"? To be honest they should have not charged me anything after what I went through, but I still paid their "discount" rate. I have asked for a complete refund and have emailed PacDen stating that they are liable for any future issues I have right now. I visited a dentist last week and she was not too thrilled with the "lasered" gum line.

The main company is www.PacDen.com and www.SmileGeneration.com. These franchises go under many different names. Cornerstar Dental is one of them in Colorado. If you see a website with the same template but just under a different name and they reference Smile Generation, Pacific Dental, PacDen or anything related, they're all the same franchise.

In the end my tooth still hurts here now and then and has never really healed completely with all the work that was done to it. That is a lot of trauma for a tooth to go through. The sad thing is these hired dentists will try and open their own private practice one day, which will in turn hurt more people.

Hate!

I hated this place! After getting X-rays done, i had to wait an hour for the actual dentist to just come clean my teeth. She apologized but it was just like a "oh sorry i was eating my lunch". I would not reccomend this place to anyone!

Overall
Worst Dental Office

I would not recommend this office. The front office does a very poor job at insurance verification. So be prepared you could pay more then you have you agreed too. The dentist seems to pressure you into a treatment plan and will not allow you to get just a regular cleaning first. They have you do all your dental work first and after you pay for that up front then they will let you get your teeth cleaned. If you are looking for an office to get regular cleaning this may not be

the dental office for you.
