We wanted specific vehicle and we found it at Brooks Biddle, so we went out to Bothell from Seattle to check it out. The car was perfect and the price was very fair, so we pulled the trigger.

The best part of the sale was our salesman, MJ (aka Mickle Jackson). MJ didn't pull the hard sell. He was very professional and helped follow up on the paperwork as well. Ask for MJ.

Yes...I know. 5 stars for a used car dealership? Here's the thing: my wife and I got exactly what we wanted. We got a darn good car at roughly $1800 under book.

(NOTE: Although he had the opposite experience of us, Gabe M.'s review here is super helpful. Thank you, Gabe! )

We were never in the market for a comfortable car buying experience. Our expectations going in were low. It was nothing against Brooks Biddle. It's just that such is the nature of used car dealerships (scorpion and the frog, ay?). All things considered, our experience was pretty decent.

We did a bunch of data-driven research beforehand: Car Gurus (which pointed us to Brooks Biddle in the first place), reading reviews on the car model, Yelp reviews, visiting other dealerships (and reading their reviews too), etc. We had Scott M. help us. He was far less pushy than other car salesman we've interacted with. We appreciated how he gave us our space and let us discuss things.

We took our new purchase to a mechanic to have it independently inspected -- all was good. We got what we came for. Simple as that.

If we are in the market for another car, we would consider Books Biddle again if they had the model we wanted.

I cannot say enough great things about this dealership. And I'm sad to see so many poor reviews. My husband and I came to this dealership after struggling at another to dealership. I went in with a Ford Focus in mind, I was able to test drive it right away, no huge sales speech. I loved the car but it was a little out of my price range, and they don't negotiate much on price because they don't have a huge mark up and their prices. Knowing that we went back into the salesman's office and looked at what they did have in my price range. He didn't push to sell me anything just because I wanted to buy a car. There happened to be another Ford Focus on the lot just 2 years older than the one I went in to look at. I test drove that one and was in love.

I knew it was the vehicle that I wanted to purchase but I wanted to have the night to think about just because I've had a few bad experiences at another dealership. There was no high pressure sell, if we wanted to come back the next day that was perfect, if not, that was cool too.

We went back the next day and signed paperwork for the vehicle, as well as having a stipulation that it was subject to any major mechanical issue, meaning that we could back out if there was any huge issues with it.

Just got it back from our mechanic and it's perfect! No issues whatsoever and I couldn't be happier. Danny was our salesman and I can't say enough good things about him and Brooks Biddle.

Wow, I'm really surprised by the reviews I see on here concerning Brooks Biddle. I have only experienced the Service side of BB, and I am pleased with the result. Dave and Chris are nothing but professional and honest. I've had all of my Chevy Trailblazer regular service done here, and have been pleased every time. I usually wait for 5-7K miles on my truck before having an oil change, and every time I feel confident that the work has been done competently and professionally. They know me by name and car when I call to schedule an apt.

I can only hope that the sales side of BB is just as reputable and respectable. Based on the reviews I probably wouldn't buy a car from them, but hey, you never know.

BB...make me an offer!

I had a real good experience with Scott M. I test drove a car on a Wednesday, negotiated the deal via text messaging on Saturday. Good thing I did that in the comfort of my own home, because the wait for completing the deal was very lengthy. I know it's part of the experience of buying a car, so I dealt with it. 3.5 hours from walk in to walk out. A long time that didn't include the negotiating. David L. was nice and sent follow up emails, but I only worked with him at the end of the process. This is my second car from BB. They have been there for a long time so they must be doing something right.

I didn't end up buying a car here but Scott was the most amazing car salesman I've ever met. He didn't pressure me at all. He was very honest and helpful. When I am ready to buy, I'm going back to Brooks Biddle first. Scott is the best!

I was looking for a used but not too used Yukon or Suburban. I scoured the internet and found only a few. I went to 2 other places and after getting pre approved and salesmen telling me to come down I found that none of these places had the vehicles I found online. They just tried to bait and switch me into buying what they wanted to sell me. Bill Pierre actually jerked me around for 6 hours before admitting none of the vehicles were actually there. I called these guys about the Suburban in their ad and my previous horror story. I was in and out in about an hour including my trade in. I have had the vehicle a few weeks no problems, no bs. If you need a used vehicle you need to see these guys.

*Disclaimer: review of buying process only, ended up buying another car.*
I dealt with Tanner Stein over e-mail on purchasing a new car.
He was straightforward, very responsive and tried to get me the best deal
(pricing ended up being highly competitive for the new model I was considering).
I worked with many dealers, and he ranks up at the very top. The only reason I ended up not buying from him was because we got a recent used deal, same car higher trim, we could not pass up.

Sold my car to them before a move when I didn't have time or bandwidth to seek a higher price through a private sale. Was treated courteously, fairly and honestly. Not at all the creepy used car experience one dreads (and too often encounters elsewhere). If I return to the area and am in the buying market I'll definitely try them!

I had a great buying experience here. It was like 4 years ago, and I don't remember the sales guy's name, but the vibe was totally relaxed and very little pressure like you might expect. I bought someone else's trade-in, at 92K miles, and while I'm always nervous about buying used cars, especially from dealers, I'm really glad I made this purchase. Other than routine maintenance, the car was trouble-free. I'm embarrassed to admit that I didn't have my mechanic inspect it before buying it. The sales guy said they don't buy trade-ins without a thorough inspection themselves, and I trusted him, and in the end it worked out fine. I drove it about 30 K in 3 years or so, with little trouble. I sold it last year, upgrading to something better. That truck has a special place in my heart, as it was a great stepping stone vehicle for my landscaping business.

This dealer sold me a car they bought from auction that had frame damage, noted by the auction. I can't trade it in, as no reputable dealer will buy or sell it. steer clear from this dealer.

After visting many dealerships and doing a lot of homework. I got really frustrated with the games and the tricks.Brooks Biddle by far was the BEST to work with. David was friendly and knowledgable about the car I was interested in; he listened to my concerns and needs. I love my 2009 Sx4 ...smooth ride,very clean car and excellent customer service from the dealership. Im very glad there is a new Suzuki dealer now in the area!

Fish was spot on and extremely nice. Not your typical pushy car salesman. I have been to this dealership and many others and had experiences that weren't easy as the salesman was trying to sell me something I didn't want. He made things easy with our trade and in and was able to get us a solid deal for both ends without making us feel like we were getting the run around.

Jocelyn went above and beyond ...

Jocelyn went above and beyond the call of duty. I live in Alaska and she was more than willing to work with me over the phone not only about buying a Elantra but also about trading in my old car. She was friendly, attentive, and did a GREAT job. I've always loved Biddle Autos, but this experience made me love them even more. :-) This is the second car I have bought and I will do more biz in the future with them!

It was time for me to trade in...

It was time for me to trade in my wonderful old SUV for a smaller car with more zip as I was not hauling around children anymore. I did a lot of homework and read lots of reviews on vehicles so I knew about the local market and prices as I scanned craigslist. I did my own research about blue book values on both the cars I was wanting to purchase and the trade-in value of my own vehicle. I called Biddle and NORM answered the phone. He was VERY PLEASANT, knew which car I was referring to from craigslist, and called me later that afternoon with info/estimates about my trade-in. My husband and I took a test-drive with the car on the next Saturday morning and Norm was exactly the kind of salesman we like to deal with: informative, but not intrusive, and very fair. We did the normal haggling back and forth for a short time, and I believe we both came out with fair prices (for the car purchased and the trade-in) in the end. We found Norm to be professional and knowledgeable and I was impressed when he called a week later to follow-up to see how we were enjoying the car. (We love it!)

BEST PLACE TO BUY A VEHICLE!!! There aren't many dealerships around like this one! You're not just another number on their sales board, you are a friend. Everyone is so kind and they really take the time to get to know you. We went to look at a few vehicles and had our 4 young children with us. The sales staff was so accomodating and went out of their way to keep my kids happy while my husband and I talked with our salesman. They even feed them lunch! :) And all moms out there know how helpful that would be! The whole process was so easy. We bought a Honda Odyssey and absolutely love it! It was a fantastic experience. I recommend Brooks Biddle to everyone!!!

Great Sales Department! We just moved to the area and purchased a Rav4 from the sales department. Allan was friendly and didn't pressure us at all. He gave us a ton of information about caring for your car to make it last longer and save money. See him! Another sales rep, Mike, sat nearby and was nice too.

I went to Brooks Biddle Autos and bought a Toyota Tundra. I worked with Allan and he was a very nice sales person. He was not too pushing and knew a lot of info on the vehicle that I didnt already know. We went out on the test drive and I felt a little pull to the side. After we came back the service guys took care of it and I purchased the vehicle. Good experience and I would recommend.
