The guy Tom sold me a truck , we shake hand... now just waiting on getting appoved..Got the call that I was approved and I was very excited, Well that same day he said we were all set texted that nite and said someone came in with cash and sold it on me ..Very disappointing..This place is not a place of their word...money talks..They dont care about their customers...I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone....

I recently purchased a mini Cooper from Pete at the carriage shop, and what a pleasant purchasing experience. Very honest and accommodating. Car was in tip top shape at the point of purchase and they gave me a very fair price for my trade in. Unfortunately, the car developed problems shortly after the sale, at no fault to the shop, or Sports and Imports (the shop that checked the car out prior to sale). The worst part was that the car was a 2003, so under Connecticut law, there was no warranty period for cars over 6 years old! All was not lost, however, when I contacted Jeff (the owner) and explained my predicament. He immediately took action, called Precision Transmission in New Haven and set up a pick up for my Mini Cooper. He even gave me my old car back as a loaner for the time the Mini Cooper was in the shop. Precision Transmission did a fantastic job on the repair and was a delight to deal with, and they stand behind their work with the warranty they gave me. Got my car back in a very appropriate amount of time, and when I picked up the car, Jeff had stayed late to ensure that he handed the keys to me personally, and even insisted that he wash the car before it left the lot. I cannot recommend this place enough; they treated me like gold, even though I didn’t buy a very expensive vehicle. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESSES!!!! These guys will get business from any of my family and friends that need a car from this point forth. I would also like to point out that there are some reviews about this place that paint a negative picture, and I have not perceived an ounce of evidence to prove these reviews correct. Sometimes you can’t please people, and as always, there are two sides to every story. Thanks for reading and give these guys a visit!!!!!!!!!
