J Anthony Plumbing Heating

Received a coupon on valpack. The technician came and said that the thermostat was bad, rubbish, he didn't know how to program it even. It took him 1 minute to give us this diagnostic. He wanted 65 dollars for this. He called me shady when I told him that it wasn't ok. I am so mad that people advertise companies that just live off taking advantage of people. DONT EVER CALL THIS COMPANY. Save yourselves a problem, because this is short of trying to make easy money with technicians who have no clue. Very embarrassing to have a business like this. STEER AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. If there was a way to put NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD.

Curly & the guys at J. Anthony really helped me out this week. My heater went on the fritz & it was 4pm, so I wasn't sure I could get anyone out to fix it. Thank God I called them. They were there in 45 mins & stayed until 6:45 to get it working. Good company!

Owner claims he is a Businessman, but does not have the integrity to work with his customer when the company knows it was wrong. The comany was suppose to install a brand new heating/ac unit on the day after Labor day. An employee said it would take a day to complete. Slam Dunk. On Friday, we had tenants going in and they found the AC not functioning and proceeded to go to Best Western. The company did not even know that their employee had not completed the job. It took us calling them. They were very apologetic and have since proceeded to complete the job. In addition, I felt the unit at 6k was overpriced, but that was beside the point of not completing the job as promised and us losing out on a tenant . The owner was willing to give me $200 discount for their blunder, when I was asking for $500, which I felt was more than fair. He said the unit cost more like 14k and he gave it to me for 6k...now who is he kidding. Facts are facts. I am paying him the full amount of $6150 but I want all of you to know that if you go with this company this is the type business you are dealing with. You can draw your own conclusions. Fortunately, my bad experience may save you in the future.

Beware!!! I called these guys when my ac stopped working, A tec. named Terry came out and said that I need a new unit for $3,000 after a month of trying to get the money and not being able to I went on line to Arnold's ac parts and they had a very helpfull trouble shooting portion. To keep it short a capacitor burned out and it cost $32.00.J.Anthony should have known this since it happens a lot to ac units.

This company was called out to look at a heating furnace that was not working. Was quoted over $6,000 to replace the unit. A second opinion was taken and the furnace was repaired for under $300.00 in a matter of a few hours. You do the math. In talking with a representative of J. Anthony after the repairs were completed by another company. It was J. Anthony's opinion that the unit was simply an older unit and it should be replaced. I personally feel this option should be left for the home owner to decide and NOT J. Anthony. The bottom line is the furnace continues to work as it should. Oh by the way, J. Anthony's bill for the service call just to look at the unit was over $400.00. Over $100.00 more just to look at the unit then another company charged to repair it.

This is not something I normally do, but after our last Summer A/C check up. Kevin at J Anthony asked if I would mind coming here and say a few words. So here we go.

As a long time customer of J Anthony my family and I really appreciate the exceptional service they provide. We own several homes in the Coachella Valley and J Anthony takes care of all of them, from a leaky faucet to A/C replacement and annual service. I guess what I like the most is that no matter what time of day or night I call a real person answers the phone.

This company came out in the middle of the night and got my mothers air conditioning working when the other company who installed it wouldn't even answer the phone..Great service, good pricing and great workmanship..They have me and my families business for now on!
