Parkridge Valley Child & Adolescent Campus

The worse yet. I have been hospitalized in other facilities and non are this bad. Other patients seemed to know my private life, I'm gay and in a relationship for 25 years. How did other patients find this out?? In this day of electronic games I could not have any electronic devices to keep me occupied.

I have NOT spoken to my daughter in 3 weeks! I've emailed her "therapist", no response, I emailed on their website, no response. From what I can tell, they make whatever judgements on whether a child can speak to their parent. God knows what they've told her! If I could, I would remove her from this joke of a facility....I've never seen such unprofessional behavior as I've seen these past few months, good God! My mother is a child psychologist, I've dealt with several therapists, counselors and such with my daughter and anything concerns I have are always discussed with me. J. Prewitt has ignored my attempts, and so have her superiors. So, this is what it's come to. I do NOT recommend this place, at all!

My Child is there at Parkrige Valley Hospital and the Hospital treats her very well, treats her with respect and very good care. My child's behavior issues have dramatically improved. Thank you to all the staff there. Mommy loves u sweetheart. Please promise mommy to keep doing well. And promise mommy you will listen, go to group and talk to someone if you need to sweetheart. Your therapist and casemanger and doctor is 2 of the best to talk to. Also the other staff to.

I really think that Valley helped me overcome my Bi-Polar/severe depression. It is a struggle everyday, but they gave me the tools to help me get through it. The staff there is very helpful and nice. They treat you as a person, and not just another statistic. Thank you to everyone who helped me there!
