        Dr. Pursifull treats a wide spectrum of urologic conditions in men, women, and children, with a special focus in minimally-invasive urology. He is the only urologist in the area who uses laparoscopy and the daVinci robotic surgical system to treat cancer of the prostate and kidney, as well as many reconstructive surgeries for hydronephrosis and pelvic organ prolapse. The minimally-invasive approach has been proven to decrease postoperative pain, blood loss, hospital stay, and the time to full recovery. He grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 2006. In 2012, he completed urology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Urology. Columbus has been his home since 2012 and he practiced urology at Martin Army Community Hospital until January 2016, serving as the Chief of Urology. He is married with two daughters and a dog. He holds membership with the American Urological Association and the Southeastern American Urological Association.
