Pure Dental Academy

I have been using Pure for a few years, but will now be finding a new dentist. Pure's policy requests that patients provide at least 48 hours notice before canceling. Today, however, Pure canceled my appointment on 10 minutes notice. I had an 8am appointment and drove half an hour through the traffic to make there in time. As I was pulling into the parking lot, the front desk called to tell me the dental hygienist had called in sick and they would need to reschedule my appointment. After explaining that I had already driven half an hour and made arrangements for someone to watch my two-month old son, I stated that I would very much prefer to be seen by someone else today. The woman at the front desk still stated that they would need me to reschedule. I will not be rescheduling as Pure clearly does not respect other people's schedules.



On another note, ironically I had just convinced my husband to switch from his existing dentist to Pure. Two weeks ago he called to make an appointment, got their voicemail, and left a message requesting a call back to make an appointment. He's still waiting for the call back.
