City of Duquesne Treasurer

My wife and I have been trying to get the home inspected, at 509 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, Pa. 15110, because the water was turned off by the previous tenant. As of today we found out that the inspector is retiring and we would have to wait until the new inspector get all caught up. We are due to move in next week and would like to get this taken care of ASAP. Why do we have to wait to move into our house because someone retired? I would like to have an inspector come to the property by the end of this week so that we can go ahead and move in. I don't believe that the retiring inspector just decided one day to retire. For them to not have someone in place and have to "catch up" is beyond me.
