Durham Ritz

On Thursday, January 19th, when I had an accident on the interior of my car, the first place I thought to bring my car was to Durham Ritz, NEVER AGAIN. I explained to management that when I went to remove the paper cover that was put in the floorboard to protect the shampooed carpet on the passenger side, I noticed my mat was missing. All he kept telling me was that the checklist showed I only had 3 mats. This was a nice way of calling me a liar. A checklist done to inventory what is there before service is only valid if it is done with both parties. Having a checklist does not cover you being used the way it is at their establishment. It just allows them to call their customers liars. To top it all off, he spoke to me like I had no intelligence especially when he asked me why anyone would want to take a mat. I know you have to remove valuable items from your vehicle before any service (I removed all CDs) but who knew I needed to take my mats also. They needed the service.



When I was in college, I had used to go to them quite often but then again that was before this management took over in 1994. I have never been treated as a customer the way management did there.
