Main Street Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics of Ft. Myers

Too stressful! There was an atmosphere of tension throughout this office and you could just feel it. It seemed as if the employees were under too much pressure or did not like their jobs. (I am just guessing, here.) The assistant was snippy about who could come back in the room with my child. One of my children was told that they had dirty teeth. ALL three of my children felt the tension and NEVER wanted to go back, and they were in different areas with different people. Strangest of all, the cleanings consisted of brushing the teeth with a fluoride solution, and nothing else. There was no pick used, no water pic either. ??? Also, I canceled the appointments made for future cleanings and still got a message that the cleaning appointments are coming up and if I do not cancel within one day of the appointment, a fee will be charged. One last thing, I received an email thanking me for my good review of them, which I never gave.

I have been a long term client at this facility and have literally spent thousands of dollars there on orthodontic and routine dental care for my sons. In the past I have booked appointments and when I arrived for them been sent home due to issues/technical difficulties they were experiencing but I was understanding and rescheduled the appointment. However, this morning due to the fact that I am employed at a busy social services agency in charge of child welfare I found myself in a situation where I needed to reschedule the appointment my children had for this afternoon. Staff informed me that because I was canceling without 24 hours notice that they would no longer book joint appointments for my children and I would have to schedule each of them for separate days and times making it much more inconvenient to schedule appointments, since I would now need to take time away from work four or more times a year for routine cleanings. Not at all an acceptable way to treat a long term client who has spent thousands at their facility and also not at all a nice way to treat busy social service agents who are working to make the community a better place.

If I could give this business less than one star I would. They are extremely unprofessional and unorganized. The front desk was rude to me and my daughter; it was a nightmare setting up an appointment and when we got there, there were surprises about billing and how the insurance was filed.

This is the best childrens dentist around., I take all my kids there!! they are AWESOME
