Great Food with some unique dishes

This was our go to place when we had visitors in town as the food is great, it's organic and it has unique dishes. The sweet potato fries are a favorite as are the uptown mac and cheese.

I enjoy the 5-cheese artisan pizza myself.

Went there for lunch. Ordered spicy chicken pasta. It's not spicy at all but still quite good. Service was a little slow but maybe because they tried to get food ready for everyone on our table.

Nice restaurant to stop at if your at the Americans. Try the patio for good people watching. I had the burger and fries and it was pretty good.

The food is good quality and its a good value price-wise; however, the service is very inconsistent here. I've had several good experiences and almost equal slow experiences. Admittedly, its been slammed when I go but the restaurants has been around long enough to staff appropriately.

My go-to place when I want a fancy burger. The shareable plates are perfect for larger parties and if you want to try a bunch of different things: grilled cheese, hummus, lettuce cups, etc. nice place to take colleagues for birthday lunches.

Great atmosphere and friendly servers. We had a large group during lunch and they were very attentive to our needs. Food was great too, good portions and very reasonable prices.

I like Granville because just about everyone can find something they like there. I can get a rosemary chicken sandwich, and my friend the picky eater can get mac and cheese and he's perfectly happy with that. They also have a lot of interesting cocktails and high-brow liquors. The only downside is that it's on the pricey side.

Good burger but pricey

Pricey but the bacon blue burger was good and the homemade chips are good too. Not sure it is worth the price.

Overall
Bad experience!

Had a bad experience here a couple weeks ago over lunch!

A colleague and I stopped in for lunch and informed the waitress that we had a meeting to run back to... that apparently made little difference as it took even longer than most days to get our food! When we did get our steak salad, our meat was rare! We had asked for medium well and being that I'm pregnant, had to send it back. We waited over 20 minutes to get our food. By that time, we asked that they pack it up for us because we'd be taking it to go to rush back to the office The to-go box felt super light, but we had no time to argue about anything and didn't even get a chance to open it until we got back to the office. To our disgust, we both got a tiny red piece of meat!! Yes, it was still rare and the blood from the meat had gotten all over the rest of the salad so had no choice, but to throw it out! NOT EATING HERE AGAIN!!

Overpriced, not that great

I've been here twice but won't be going back. Food was ok but overpriced. That pretty much describes the restaurants in general at Americana. My recommendation is find another joint within a block or two. BJ's, Island's, Sushi Kai, Pho Hut, etc. are all there...

Delightful Service, Delicious Food!

I've only been to Granville Cafe twice, and both times it was with large groups of 10 or more. Each time, the service was stellar, in spite of the large size of our group.

I love the food here. You'd think a pastrami sandwich (what I enjoyed on my first visit) or a rib eye steak sandwich (sans bleu cheese, enjoyed on today's visit) would be heavy and greasy, but not at all. I find their sandwiches to be light and hearty, and the homemade chips served on the side are delicious, too.

I highly recommend the berry lemonade, or the fruit infused water. Both drinks are quite tasty. The lemonade is not refillable, and at about $3.50 a glass, a bit pricey. However if others in your party order it, you can get a pitcher for about $9 and split the cost.

I've heard from others who have visited Granville in smaller groups that the service is just as stellar, so I'm pretty confident in recommending this place to anyone who may find themselves in the Glendale area and looking for a good place to eat.

One of my all-time favorite restaurants ever!

Let's start here: Food: Amazing! I've not ever had a dish that I wouldn't order again. Service: Stellar! My first visit, I got rock star treatment from Eric, the manager. Every experience since has been equally awesome. Location: Nice! Just outside the main driveway to the the Americana. Parking is easy.

Recommendations: You must try the Uptown Mac & Cheese. Your kids might turn their noses as the asparagus and snap peas... but as an adult they are divine additions. The chicken and basil sprig round out the dish. Try the sweet potato fries for an appetizer... and the berry shortcake for dessert. Yum!
