As a fellowship-trained corneal specialist with extensive education and experience in the medical and surgical management of corneal diseases, Dr. Parker is one of the Upstate’s leading eye care providers for LASIK and cataract surgeries. Not only does Dr. Parker emphasize training and education for herself, but her staff as well. The entire team at Carolina Cornea undergo continued education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest technological and medical advances in ophthalmology. Additionally, Carolina Cornea remains a private practice, not part of the hospital or a multi-specialty group, allowing for a more personalized patient experience.
