Calvary Chapel

I make this review to you and before God. I love CCGR. A place where people can come and hear God's Word taught by my brother in the Lord John Knapp. AN EXCELLENT BIBLE TEACHER/EXPOSITOR. Probably as polished as anyone. I do believe that God has so much more for all of us! I think we barely scratch the service! There is no "perfect assembly of believers" anywhere! If you live in the area, I do recommend Brother/Pastor John's ministry in teaching. Also, good Christian fellowship. Pastor Knapp's associate, Gregg Seymore (spelling?) is an excellent associate pastor. I give John and Gregg five stars!

I was not even a member of this church, but my mom was. I became extremely ill in the long term and when I was very close to dying, I asked my mom to see if anyone would come and pray by my bedside. The members of the church came out of the woodwork for me! One of the pastors even came to the hospital where I was having my 3rd gallbladder attack. His prayers, I felt, saved me! All of their prayers did. I can't tell you what their loving care has done for me.



I'm still sick, but when I'm well enough, I get to Firm Foundations where we study the Bible and to the service either Saturdays or Sundays. I am a member now and I can't say enough about the goodness of these people. They are kind and forgiving, just as I want to be. I'm so blessed to have found a new family at Calvary Chapel Green Valley! It's my mission in life to give the comfort and prayer that was given to me when I was at my worst. We could all learn a valuable lesson from the good people there.

The first review is looks like an automated one. The second one failed to describe why THIS Calvary Chapel was in error, it just gave a vague description and a lot of info on the main CC leader.

I have attended CCGV for many years now, I love John's preaching of the word, I know he loves the people and the Lord. The church is not perfect, it may seem as strict at times, but I have been around, from the biggest church in town to the smallest congregations, and with the great falling away underway this church is the best and safest place for you, your family and any new Christian. If you have a family with young children this is the place to be, the children's pastors are very sweet and fear the Lord, we speak to them mainly, I know P. John has a lot on his plate, and any concern we may have we can bring to them without judgement or problem, whereas somewhere else they have told us to hit the door.

I have to say that the remarks made regarding pastor John are unbelievable. Pastor John teaches from the bible therefore how can he be wrong in his teaching? I think a little spite and a lot of anger might have more to do with the coments. I have been going to this church for years and find pastor John Knapp to be one of the best teachers I have heard with Calvary and I have been with Calvary for 17 years. Im sure tht if his teachings were false that pastor Chuck Smith would be dealing wth it. I say to you that wrote these things that your comments may deter lives from coming to the Lord and shame on you for your vanity and pride driven remarks
