We were new customers to alladin and we had heard good things about the place and its wonderful owner Mr.yousef. It was a monday evening when me and my friend had come to eat and the place looked wonderful. Our server was a young lady with glasses who was nice but little did we know needs alot of improvement. Our food got there almost in time but she looked like she had more work on her hands; she brought our food and immediatly went to the kitchen counter and began talking to someone. She rarly came to out table when we needed her.My friend and i tried several times to get her attension but she kept on going to the kitchen counter. Before we had our chance to look at the dessert menu our ticket came. This was a big dissapointment for me, because i heard some many good things about this pace come to find my worst expectations. Mr Yousef, I advice you to find or improve your staff

The food was good, but lacked the flavor punch you would expect from Mediterranean food and the service sucked. We wanted a change from the typical Jackson, MS southern/seafood meal. We gave this place a try after I was craving some pita chips and tzaziki one night. The girl who fixed my take out order was so kind! The hummus is decent, but I have made better. The tzaziki is great, the best I've ever tasted and reasonably priced at 25 cents for a two ounce portion. The gyro meat is good too! Our server was an older british lady and she was rude and unattentive. We spent around $50 for three of us and I was dissapointed because the portions were so small and the service sucked. I honestly feel she was so rude because we are black, not trying to pull the "race card," but it is what it is! The typical entree comes with a side of hummus and a "greek" salad that has this orange colored dressing. I was expecting some pepperoncini, kalamatas, feta, grape tomatoes on my salad you know, but it was a simple salad with some oranged colored dressing that lacked flavor. I ordered the lamb shish kebabs and I was expecting some flavors reminiscent of what I used to get from street vendors in New York, boy was i dissapointed. The lamb was kinda dry actually, but the charcoal did give it a decent flavor, but not flavorful enough for me. I probably wont ever go back, not even for take out.
