Kwik Kar #16

I went here for my inspection sticker and an oil change. Almost 2 hours later, I had go to them to find out it was done. I was then called a liar saying I hadn't been there as long as I said I had been! The guy actually laughed!!!!

My husband and I have both taken our cars to Kwik Kar on N Fry for over 1.5 years. My husband has trusted them every time he goes to them. We have spent hundreds of dollars there for miscellaneous repairs that were needed to be done per their expertise.

On April 12th 2008, my husband took my car to get inspected for re-registration. He told Demetrious (Service Writer)that we would be moving out of the state back to California in a few weeks, and that we would both be driving our cars back. Demetrious then told my husband that my car desperately needed new brakes. He said that they were soooo bad, that they may only last about 1 more week. He said the pads were so old that they were not able to do the job, and that we needed the rotors re-done. Needless to say my husband was very upset, He came home and demanded that I take my car into them immediately and get new brakes.

I told my husband that I had just had new brakes put on a few months before (7/2008) at Meineke, and they have a lifetime guarantee.

I visited Meineke this morning (4/22/08), had a full inspection done (For free) and they advised there is nothing wrong with my brakes. I showed the man the quotes from Kwik Kar (222.09 and 254.07) and he just shook his head. He said the business is slow, and they probably just needed to get more money in??? My brakes are in terrific shape.

I then came home and Called Mario (Service Tech/Assistant Manager) and he said "sorry". He said he would talk to Demetrious about it when he came in. That's All...

Come on folks....this is called taking advantage. SHAME ON YOU!!!! We rely on you to be the professionals, and to help us make the best decisions for our cars. Theft is a crime, and your lie crosses that line.

I would tell anyone reading this not to go to the N. Fry location.
