I have a 2005 chevy silverado 1500, had dents bought it on a Tuesday took it to maaco on a Friday, they had it a week couldn't be happier. Came out great. It's like a new truck. They also installed my bed liner for free. GREAT AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. NEIL THE SERVICE GUY WAS AWESOME. WE HAD CASUAL CONVERSATION ABOUT HIS GRANDKIDS.

Was told to drop off the vehicle on the 16th and was told that the work would be done on the 29th so i called on the 28th to get the details on when to pick it up and instead was told that the work had not even started yet and that it would be at least another week. All the while i am paying for a rental. I filed a complaint with the corporate office and they stated that they would get in touch with the owner and get back to me in 48 hours. About 30 minutes later i received a call from the owner stating that he was upset that i called corporate on him that i needed to pick up my vehicle and that he would not be doing any work on it.

Maaco Killeen retturned my brand new car in worse condition. Just wanted stripes painted on my car and all the lines were choppy and jagged, corners weren't cut right, tape residue and lots of dirt under clear coat, paint on my bumper, paint residue on inside of car, unreliable residue on my taillights that have to be replaced now, overspray on car frame and windshield wiper speakers, and overspray clear coat all over my car (including my window track). Owner acted as if everything was normal and paint job.wasn't going to be perfect..acted very egotistical. Offered to fix paint job however spoke with 2 other details in auto paint business andsaid it would be useless to try and fix what they did bc it ewould look worse the second time. Approached the owner about what the other retailers said and he denied everything they said and would not refund my money. it took me $900 to fix their $750 mistake. Don't be taken advantage of like I was!

Got in and out on time! They did such a great paint job. Very good

DON'T GO HERE! They ripped me off and charged $1300 for "repairs" that left damage much the same as the car came in with!

Don't bother taking out car here. Your gonna have to keep bringing it back for them to fix their mistakes. I took my vehicle in there because I wanted to save some money. Bad idea. They messed up my clear coat and it pealed off really quickly. I had them fix it and when I got it back they had painted over things thy shouldn't have. They cut my windshield washer lines to get my hood off and never bothered to replace them. Overspray everywhere and when I got my vehicle back it was a lot dirtier than when I brought it. This place is a joke. Thy people are rude and don't deserve to be in Chico.

Don't go to Maaco , they don't stand behind their prices . I stopped in at a Maaco in Billings Montana to get a quote for a paint job on a 1995 Ford Crown Victoria and was told it would cost more than 900.00 . there is no peeling clear coat , one very small ding that can be seen if you very close and down the side of the car . it was a simple two tone color on the vehicle ( black and white ) and thought about one solid color , black . how hard is that ?

the parent company maaco / driven brands group do not care about their franchisees and really do not care about the work done let alone individual customers. take their money is the corporate philosophy.

They are liars. Does not use proper paint on bumpers. Paint will not hold up. They also deny any wrong doing.

Macco customers please understand that this paint shop does stand by their work i own a custom paint shop in san diego california and im opening one here in the tri cities, i send many of my return customers to macco when i didnt have time to do their paint jobs once the paint job was complete by macco to keep my customes happy i had their work inspected by my shops quality assurance inspector and they do a great job all vehicles will have orance peel once they are painted that just means they put a thick coat of paint and more than one coat of clear, and if the customes leave the shop 3 days after theiur vehicle is complete its always better to come back in two weeks when the oaint is completely dried to cut and buff it, if your not happy with the work done you can go back to macco and talk to them and they will make it right but you must understand that they need to put their new customers a head and your job will vcome second that is howmy shop works thats how macco works and that is how every shop works, please for any question just reply to this add and i will do my best to update everything.

STAY AWAY FROM THE KILLEEN MAACO..They painted a vintage 1959 "fleet option" gmc truck for me and totally screwed it upThis particular truck has less than 100 of them that are known to exist that are running to date, and tthis is my retirement project to keep me busy. This paint job totally sucks, they painted over alot of the rubber on the outside, didn't bother to mask it,such as the rubber grommet on the gas inlet part, paint all over lots of other rubber, on my mirrors, alot of orange peel,runs/sags/cracks in the paint/as well as ov erspray over alot of the truck that is not supposed to have paint. The tailgate on this truck is a blue wrap with a center white box that has the large classic orange GMC letters on it.They masked off the white center panel, and the gmc letters(large 3 inch letters) that are chevy orange, sprayed the blue, and white on other partts of the truck, peeled the masking paper off and didn't even bother painting the large rec tangular middle of the tailgate,it is still just like it went going in.Like to here them tell me .This paint job is full of dimples, runs sags..why di9dn't I take it bac k? Because I don't won't them messing it up even worse..I DON'T WANT THEM NEAR THIS RARE TRUCK,OR EVEN A HOT WHEELS TOY AT THAT. Heres one of the major kickers and will cause me to totally repaint this truck anyway, is they were supposed to paint this thing the "ORIGINAL COLOR" which I easily got the true color from the 1959 GMC charts, which there are only 3 blues on,and they painted this thing WAY WAY off the true color which is called "canyon blue", which is similar to a "cobalt blue" which is a pretty deep toned blue, but they paint it a blue that isn't even near the three blues on the GMC color chart for that year. You can open my hood and see the color there against the color they put on and a 4 year old child could tell the difference if held up against it. The colors these trucks were made in the blues, came from Ditzler Color Division in Detroit, and still available today..The three blues GMC had for that year is 1.Orbit Blue 2. Cape Blue, and 3. Canyon Blue...The color they gave me was almost a flourescent type blue, that leans toward Turquoise more so than actual blue. The total paint job is just screwed up completely, the color is wrong, and has more sags and runs in it than one could imagine. My grand Father picked this truck up after it was painted and not really keen on his eyesight anymore for if it had been me, there would had been quite a disturbance over it, but I still wouldn't have let them try to fix it.The painting is so bad on this truck, that I wouldn't dare let them touch it any further.I now have sanding marks all over it where I had to sand some major runs out of it,and will soon have it painted by some actual automotive painters, and not some trainee..Yes I will see this same guy that works for Maaco reply to this posting with some type of excuse, but does he kbow, he is actually making things worse.RThe ratings and reviews are consistant with each other, and actually..I have never seen any place with so many "horror" reviews on the internet from this place, that basically, he appears to be making a liar out of himself.I am not calling him a liar, but you make the judgement here..just look at the contrary and conflicting remarks he makes throughout him trying to explain how great their service is,and how he also basically says everyone else is lying.Don't take your auto here....

Took a car in a 97 chevy camaro that did not have any damage at all.. Had ground effects put on and asked for best paint job they had.. got charged 1700.00 and the ground effects flew off of my car and they told me that I hit something if that is the case how did the hood roof and back bumper all start cracking to. I should have got a tax credit for that donation but they are not needy

maaco is a scam it starts with their corporate office and rolls down hill. slap on some junk paint and take your money.

I went there with the impression that Macco would give me some information about my car and the types of repairs they do.....not. Front desk person, Shane, was rude, did not want to see my picture and would not answer any question I wanted to ask. The good part is I went to YP.com and saw the reviews. There is no such thing as a "-star" but this place sure deserves one. I will tell my military friends to stay away from this establishment.

Maaco is a rip-off. I really feel for the one or two Maacos that do good work. I've had one good experience and one bad experience. The bad far outweighed the good. I will not take my chances ever again.

I took in my Truck for a Paint and Body Repair. I was Quoted $1,200.00. I thought you pay more and you get more. I was Wrong!!! The spots that was repaired are now 3 months later are Cracking. The Pait is cracking as well in several places. And The Paint from Day one was 90% Orange Peal. I asked about that. I was told to let the paint Cure for 30 Days and have it Buffed at a Detail Place of my Chioce. I took it to three places and all three Told me it would crack and Peal more if it was Buffed.. They Blow me off. Manager will call you back in a couple days. Uts three months later and No call from no one. I call once a week and get told that. Beware and save you a Headache..
You do get more for the more you pay. However wether it's 200.00 or 5000.00 we treat every car the same. If the spots are cracking why have you not brought it back in to have us fix it? If the paint is cracking I stand behind everything we do. If it was 90% orange peel I would have buffed it HERE, not told you to take it to a detail shop. You have no called once a week or have I even heard from you. Like I said if you want something fixed or something is wrong you need to stop in. I awaite your call.
09/09/2010
NO customer service at all, they dont care about you....just the money and get you out the door. you should see my car.......very sad
That's not true at all. If there was a problem, we would address it and make it correct. If you have a problem stop back in or call.
