Auto Painting Process Step 1: Body Repair - Worried about those small dents and unsightly scratches ruining your paint job? Our body repair technicians have mastered the method of eliminating those blemishes down to a Five-Step Process to ensure that your finish is free from those small dents and unsightly scratches. Step 2: Surface Preparation - You know those chips, scratches, cracks and excessive peeling on your vehicle? If left untreated and exposed to the elements over time, these conditions could ultimately ruin your paint job. At Maaco, our estimators examine your vehicle and suggest condition repairs. We offer affordable surface prep options that ensure your MAACOVER looks great. A little surface repair before the paint goes on can ensure it holds that gloss and shine for years to come. Step 3: Surface Sealer - Sealer plays that all-important role of establishing a barrier between the old and new paint. This ensures consistent color and a higher gloss throughout the entire painted surface. At Maaco we offer 3 grades of sealer. The right choice is all about durability, and ultimately the amount of prep work needed for your particular vehicle. When it comes to the durability of your vehicle's paint, sealer helps keep consistent shine long after the job is done. Step 4: Paint Services - We offer three paint packages tailored to your specific needs and budget concerns: Basic, Preferred and Premium. What makes each of the three services unique all comes down to two factors: Longevity of the paint, which includes warranty/durability, and the appearance of the paint, which includes gloss, color match, and metallic appearance. Step 5: Protection & Services - A great paint job deserves great protection. We often apply clear coats to our paint jobs to not only protect the paint, but to ensure an accurate gloss match and an overall seamless repair..

In December 2017 I caught a sale for $249.00 fpr their entry level paint job. I had my 1995 Jeep Wrangler painted. Most paint shops will not paint jeeps because of all the masking and prep work needed (Greenville wouldn't touch it)

Despite the sale price Front Desk Receptionist, Gwen Button, was a joy to work with. She was professional and always kept me up to date. The manager, Patrick Hardgrave, would not skimp on neither materials or workmanship. The jeep is a "wheeler" and sees the woods, mud trails, off roading. The clearcoat was coming off the hood and I told him to just scuff it up and paint it. He refused to do it like that, he insisted that it be sanded down to bare metal and do it right. That his shop would not put out work that I was requesting.

The jeep came out great! I haven't found any overspray, runs or orange peel. In fact, it looks so good I'm not sure I am comfortable to take off roading.

I was involved in an accident Nov 14th 2013 After going to several different places I went to Maaco of Spartanburg thinking at least finding a shop to paint my car found that they do body work to "one stop shop" The owner, Patrick and Victoria gave me the best customer experience ever. I didn't even recognize my own car. Best decision I ever made!

I was involved in an accident Nov 14th 2013 so like everyone else I started shopping around for a body shop to fix my car. After going to several different places I went to Maaco of Spartanburg thinking at least finding a shop to paint my car I would have one thing out the way because it seemed like every body shop I went to could only fix the damage but not paint it. Maaco of Spartanburg is the closet to my home so I went there. The first person I came in contact was the Receptionist Victoria she is soft spoken, extra sweet and will hold a conversation with you until someone is ready to assist you. As I was talking to Victoria Patrick walks up with a huge smile on his face and hand out ready to greet me. As we walked and talked I was telling him about my experiences with other body shops (which he even apologized for when most places are quick to down talk) and wish list for my car and he told me that Maaco of Spartanburg also does body work! I really liked the fact that Patrick wasn't being a pushy salesman only thinking about the sale trying to offer me the highest priced products they have to offer (he even suggested a few ways to save money). I really appreciated the awesome customer service I received and the convenience of a "one stop shop" I decided to go with Maaco of Spartanburg. However after I left I started thinking even with the perfect service I hated the car there were so many bad memories attached and this accident was the last straw. I had no reason to get it fixed I wasn't taking care of it anyway there were dents, dings, scratches, a tore up bumper, the paint was chipping, no door handles, even the side rear view mirror was barely put together I just didn't care anymore. For a few months I had been trying to figure out a way to financially afford trading my car and getting another car with a car payment. . But as much as I wanted something else my financial situation was not going to let that happen. I never told Patrick about anything I had going on but I have a chemical imbalance or mental disorder Borderline Personality Disorder, Multiple Personality Disorder along with a few other things so between doctor appointments and the long list of medication I'm on I couldn't afford more than I had, but that car made me so depressed. I told myself that after they finished my car if still felt the same way I was going to find some kind of was to get me another car. I called more times than we can count to tell Patrick something else I wanted done or changed (symptom of my disability you can never make a decision and sticking to it) he never got irritated he always made me feel I could come by or call whenever I liked, everything would be perfect when they were finished and I had nothing to worry about. I called them so much I forget my own thoughts, Victoria would always make notes that way when I came in I would remember why I came by without making me feel like my memory was my problem. The insurance company finally appraised my car the damages to my car were appraised WAY lower than expected. I went by the shop very upset to tell Patrick I wouldn't be able to get everything I wanted because the insurance check combined with my small amount of money wouldn't be enough. After I vented and was ready to leave I was really angry and my feelings were hurt, Patrick asked me was I mad and I said yea! I really wanted and needed those changes I really couldn't afford another car and there was a chance that with a makeover I could keep my car. Patrick told me to just give him a few days he would figure out a way to give me everything I wanted still not knowing my situation. Less than a week Patrick worked out a deal that if I had an extra $158 I could get everything I wanted. I was so happy I got the money together and took it to the shop. Patrick called to let me know my car was ready. When I got there I didn't even recognize my own car Patrick had to point it ou

No other body shop in town could beat the value and price of this shop. I was very pleased when they painted my Oldsmobile Delta 88 and I've brought it back a few more times after bashing up my bumpers again. The color always matches and I couldn't be any happier.
