Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting

Extremely unhappy and dissapointed! Horrible repair on my car and even worse customer service! This location was extremely shady and unprofessional. Don't leave anything in your car what so ever, not even "good-luck" money because it will be sure to be stolen!!! Bringing my car here was nothing but aggravation and inconvenience!

My boyfriend took his 1977 Ford Thunderbird to Maaco to have some minor bodywork and a new paint job done. Umberto, the gentleman helping him, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable regarding the state of the vehicle, and the magnitude of the repairs it would require. He was extremely honest with us regarding pricing, and went to every effort to ensure that the job was taken care of efficiently, and within my boyfriend's budget. Umberto's manager, Caroline, was also very accommodating and friendly, helping Umberto in his efforts to keep the job within the budget. The level of customer service and job performance demonstrated was absolutely exceptional. The car came out looking fantastic, and it wasn't too big a hit on my boyfriend's wallet. If you're looking to have your car repainted and spiffed up, we couldn't recommend this place any more.

We all know that it is really hard to find a trustworthy business to take your car to, but I FINALLY have found one. To give you a brief summary of my experience at this location, I need to start off by saying that this business truly deserves the five star rating that Im giving it. I took my car in today because I somehow received a small scratch on my brand new car. Yes, this scratch was barely noticeable to most , but to me it was like the car was just totaled. From the moment I entered the door , I knew this place was different. The genuine attitude of the entire staff was to make you feel comfortable and welcome. I honestly believe they felt my pain about my car and the level of customer service I received to get my "family member" back in shape was amazing. This place truly "wowed" me. even though I do not want return to this place all too often, for obvious reasons, Im truly relieved that when the unfortunate accident does happen, I know in my heart, I have a place I can call home for my repairs. Thanks to the entire staff who made this such a wonderful experience, and lets just hope the next time I come in......its just to say hello :-) Btw, the scratch is gone :-) :-)

For the price $500 they did a good job as long as the paint does not chip, fade or peel in a matter of months. I don''t believe they sanded (value prep) the car like i paid for because the little areas I left for them to do still shows scratches through the paint. They did get a little over spray on my trim and they completely painted my exhaust tips. I noticed dirty hand prints all on the interior of my car like the radio, change holder (they had no reason to be in there) and the center console. For a low priced quick (3 day) paint job I am happy. AS LONG AS IT LAST!!!

i would never usually go out of my way to write a review but in this case i had to. Matt and Caroline (the owners of maaco on obt in orlando) literally saved my life. earlier this year i was rear ended and spun off the road by a drunk driver. i did not have full coverage on my car so i called around to find the best deal on the repairs. after speaking with Caroline on the phone she seemed very optimistic about my situation even though my car was totaled out. no less than a week later i got a phone call from Matt telling me he had not only found a parts car for me on his own time but was going to send a truck to pick it up and tow it to the shop so they could start working on my car. i have been overwhelmed by the charisma and genuine nature of the people who proudly own and work at this Maaco shop in Orlando, i would highly recommend their services to anyone who wants a quality job at a more than fair price. i own a 2006 Mitsubishi evolution i was EXTREMELY picky about my car and they made it look better than new. i cant say thank you enough, what i can tell you is that they have made myself my family and my friends customers for life. Thank you again to Matt, Caroline and everyone else at the shop who helped out.

Brought my car to Maaco for a cheap paint job, got a great paint job and great service car looks fantastic and would definatly recommend and return. Went to another area Maaco a number of years ago and didn't get near the service that I got here. These guys really got it goin on !!!!!!! Keep up the great work !!!!!

i have taken to of my cars to this location and they have both came out very nice at a good price..... there office staff is very friendly and willing to listen....... I would would recomend them to anyone.

i took my 2004 honda civic to have a full body re-spray here in April of 2010. they up sold me to the 4-year paint program. the job took about four business days. after i picked up the vehicle, the actual job was pretty good. rates were a lot cheaper than if i took to the factory dealership and other high quality body shops. thus, value for money was very good. only complaints was i did have to go back twice to take care of little nit bits. for example, there was paint re-spray on the windows, windshield and under the hood. the other thing is that Maaco does not take off the factory trim, rather, they paint around it. thus, if looking for a through paint job, i would recommend purchasing your own factory trim and have it installed after.
