Consumer's Original Complaint :

REF: REPAIR ORDER 20243 AND 48353

I TOOK MY 1999 AUDI A6 QUATTRO FOR A PAINT JOB (FRONT BUMPER AND HOOD) DUE TO ROCK CHIPS AT MAACO ON THE 3/20/2012 FOR AN ESTIMATE AND I LATER DECIDED TO DO THE JOB. THEY HAD TROUBLE MATCHING MY PAINT. THEY PAINTED MY CAR UP TO THREE TIMES I FINALLY HAD TO GO WITH WHAT I GOT ON THE 8/15/2012 CAUSE I DIDN'T GET CHOICE BECAUSE I HAD TO GO TO WORK. MY PAINT START PEELING OFF AFTER EIGHT MONTHS AND I BROUGHT IT TO THERE ATTENTION BUT INSTEAD THEY TRY TO BLAME IT ON ME, THEY INSULTED ME, THREATENED TO HIT ME AND EVEN DISCRIMINATED AGAINST ME AND I HAVE EVERYTHING ON TAPE WHICH I WILL TAKE TO THE APPROPRIATE AUTHORITIES. ALL I WANTED FROM THEM WHEN I WENT THERE WAS TO FIX THE PROBLEM.



Consumer's Desired Resolution:

I went there to ask them to fix the problem but insults was what i got and they threatened to hit me as well and i have everything on tape.

My friend has had his car painted here, and I have had two paint jobs from these guys. Everett Maaco is the place to go if your car needs an affordable yet impressive paint job. The masking is not perfect, but their painter seems to know what he is doing. My buddy's car, and the two paint jobs I have had done at Everett Maaco looked and still do look like brand new cars. My car had been backed into a few years prior to the paint job, and the guys at Everett Maaco fixed my dent, mirror and adjusted my fender for free! Now, you would never know my car was ever involved in any kind of incident.

Friend had his 88 chev shorty painted paid over 1k I helped him pick out the RED color we even ask the guy runnin the store is this the reddest red u have he said yes one week later get the truck back and it looks just like hugger orange now we took the sample outside it was red. Not this orange. He is a very mellow man he. Is happy the way it is I wanted him to make them pay and spray it again but, he didn't. Maco u guys on evergreenway. Blew it in my eyes.

got some body work done at Maaco in Everett and a few months later the paint started coming off. Went back to Everett Maaco and was told that it's normal.

In response to this establishments response to my review please visit the BBB website. You will discover that I'm not the only one that has found Maaco of Everett to provide poor service. Also, BBB gave this establishment a "D" rating.



UPDATE: Finally took it to another auto-body shop to get the Everett Maaco paint job fixed. They said the Maaco paint job had "fish eyes" which means the Maaco paint job was contaminated with foreign substance and therefor did not adhere to the surface which is why the paint was coming off so easy. Total out of pocket cost to repair Maaco's bad paint job was $1077.
