AIDS Project Los Angeles, also known as APLA, provides bilingual direct solutions. In operation for more than 25 years, it is one of the largest, nonprofit AIDS service organizations in the United States. The organization conducts several education and leadership programs that focus on HIV-related policies and legislations. AIDS Project Los Angeles is a community-based, volunteer-supported organization with local, national and global reach. It offers a range of food, dental care and housing options. The organization operates a community-based research unit and education department. AIDS Project Los Angeles administers the Treatment Adherence Program. It also provides case management and home health services.
