Crowns usually aren’t a factor in Invisalign treatment. However, small composites called attachments sometimes are bonded onto teeth to help achieve certain movements. In these cases, Dr. Nikaeen must carefully evaluate the location of any crowns you may have.
Bridges

Dental Implants
TAD also known as Temporary Anchorage Device is a mini implants or mini screws that are used in combination with braces to move teeth without using other teeth as the anchor. Typically, teeth have been the most commonly used anchor, however this limits both stability and force application, and as a result teeth move in relationship to the adjacent teeth. Using a Temporary Anchorage Device allows tooth movement to be specific to that area or tooth.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral Surgery
Delaying treatment isn’t recommended. If your child needs Phase I treatment, it usually means they have a more complex problem that requires immediate attention. Without early orthodontic action, treatment options will become limited; more difficult; and the long-term stability of teeth may be compromised. In addition, your child may require extractions, oral surgery and increased costs in later life.
Jaw Surgery

Dr. Nikaeen’s treatment may involve alternative appliances that can be used for expansion to create space in the mouth, rather than teeth removal.
