Sunset Dental Clinic

I had been seeing Dr Sweeny 2x a year for 6 years. Her receptionist strong armed me into having 5 teeth filled at once and opened a credit account to absorb the cost. I had been very happy with Dr Vick Kargodorian in Hollywood, and was having my old amalgam fillings slowly replaced, paying cash as my insurance didn't cover composites. She filled 4 adjacent teeth in one excruciating hour and 45 minutes. Against my better judgement! It took 4 years to pay for the fillings and a crown, as soon as they were paid off, one of the teeth broke. I had complained every time I went in for a cleaning that the 4 teeth she worked on no longer made contact with each other thus creating a magnet for trapped food to weaken my enamel. After spending all that money, believe me I flossed daily! But huge chunks of food were lodged between my teeth every night. She refused to make any correction to this faulty work. When inevitably a tooth broke, she quoted me $1200 to fix it. I opened a dispute with the credit company. I sent many friends to her over the years! This is how she reacted: she erased evidence of the work from my medical chart, all written in pencil, and said she never worked on the tooth. If I could give no stars, I would. This is malpractice.
