Love this salon. Been going about four years. This salon has a professional and friendly staff. Walk-ins are accepted and if your wait (appts excluded) is longer than 15 minutes, you will be advised.

You be happier to go someplace...

You will be happier (and safer) to go someplace else. I made a telephone appointment and I still had to wait 15 minutes. This was frustrating, but forgivable.

The worst part was that the items weren't sterilized. The nail tech removed them from a used green paper bag that is traditionally used for sterilizing, but the bag was not sealed closed. Also, the cuticle nippers had skin on them. I pointed this out and the tech told me it was paper residue from the bag they were in. HUH? It was obviously the previous person's cuticle skin. If I had not been up to my elbows in the manicure by then, I would have left. There is a health score on the wall of 100, but never let these fool you. After that score, things went downhill.

Sorry you had a bad experience. We have purchased this business in 2014 and would love to show you how we have changed. Everything is disposable including liners in our pedicure chairs. Please come see us at our new location across the street.

Money Wasted

My daughter and I went to get a manicure. After inquiring about their services, we decided on a regular manicure with painted white tips. Either the employee did not understand English OR was trying to sell a higher priced service - because that is what they started to do.

First I asked to be seated next to my daughter and was told that they could not do that, because the stations were not set up to allow that. I did not understand that with the number of stations they have.

Next, I asked that my nails not be cut or squared off. The employee promptly started doing both, claiming they needed to be trimmed a little. I did not realize it, but they were actually preparing my nails for artifical tips. Because they chopped my nails off, then roughed them up with a drill. By the time I realized what they were doing, they had applied artifical tips to my daughters nails. When we got them stopped and told them NO, they seemed to get irate with us and began talking to each other in their language and giving us dirty looks. They had to remove the nail tips from my daughter and then start on the actual manicure.

I had thought that they would buff our nails to smooth them back out and file them to remove the rough edges. They did neither of these. When I got home, I had to smooth the rough edges of my nails. Since they cut my nails, I have had 3 of them to split and peel back very short - something I do not have problems with.

Within 2 days my nails looked awful, when they usually look nice for 5-7 days. My daughter's nails were just as bad. After removing the polish they applied, my nails are still rough.

I tried to speak with the manager regarding this substandard service, however, I did not get anywhere with him. He just kept saying that you should not get your nails painted, because it chips off.

I have told several of my friends about the bad service we received and will to continue to pass this along to anyone that mentions a manicure.
