Tune Up The Manly Salon

Worst Salon in town. I am only talking about the hair part of it. There are several other parts to this salon that are wonderful. The hair on the other hand. This woman BURNT my hair with a perm. I specifically told her I wanted Shirley Temple curls, I got Poodle. I specifically asked her to use different rods, she said those were the ones to use. My hair smells burnt, feels burnt, and looks burnt. I called her back this morning just to ask what I should do for the "crunchy" parts of my hair and she would not even let me ask. All she kept saying was "you were given instructions for 2 days" I get that, I am not a perm newbie. However, I am aware of a bad perm. I understand they happen from time to time, could be any reason what so ever, but she was yelling at me and would not even let me ask a question. I would not recommend this person to ANYONE, AT ANY POINT, FOR ANY REASON. She will burn you in more ways than one. I would love to go back and purchase some more Bare Minerals from the Salon, but I just can't stand the thought of going back while she is still there.

This is a friendly place with lots of great products available, including Bare Minerals. The services are excellent and being there is re-energizing because of the fun people who work there. They have an esthetician that gives facials to die for! I always look forward to my visits to Salon 309 because I look and feel great afterwards. If I were a cosmetologist, this is where I would want to work. Best salon in the area, hands down.
