Dr. Jerry Ellen Owensby, MD

TO FEMALEPATIENT 49 who complained abt Dr. O. not seeing her in hospital. Office based physicians haven't made hospital calls for a long time. In hospitals you are seen by "hospitalists." I have NEVER seen such a well run practice as that of Jerry Owensby, MD. I can get in to be seen often same day with a problem and they give the word thorough a whole new amply larger meaning. I consider Tamara, Ms. Washington, extremely well educated, up to date on the latest in diagnostics and treatments, and very well qualified to do what they do. I am a doctor (Ph.D.) myself and I am here to tell you that this is a very good medical practice. From those to whom I have recommended this practice I get huge thanks.

Rarely are you seen by doctor.....always her associates (PA's, Nurse). Schedules too many redundant tests and never follows-up on results. Was hospitalized recently and never heard from her until I initiated contact even though Owensby sent me there without seeing me. Very dis-satisfied
