I trusted him so much that I left my vehicle blindly in his care and even agreed to have service done over the phone without even asking for the prices as he promised to be fair and honest. About 3.5 hours later, at the shop I was met by his wife and a $2,000 bill. I was shocked on the charges, asked to speak to Rubin, and wife said they were about to close and that he was busy so, I paid the bill and left. The largest charge on my bill was $295.88 for 1 motor mount that he charged me 7.2 hours of labor @ $75 per hour ($540 total). All I saw that was new were new brake pads and rotors. In total I was charged $955 for labor (almost 13 hours of work) even though he only worked on my car 3.5 hours and $819 in parts plus tax. Since taking my vehicle to this shop it has given my so many other engine, computer, and mechanical problems in addition to the originally issues. I left with a $2000 credit card debt, my vehicle in worse condition.I would NEVER RECOMMEND this shop to family/friends.
