        The Charleston Dance Institute is the central destination of dance education for students at all levels of ability and dedication in the greater Charleston area. We provide the highest level of both dance instruction and public performance that are essential to any student's quality dance experience. We offer a varied class schedule to accommodate students with a focus on recreation as well as a track that reflects the national standard for a pre-professional training program. Our offerings include dance classes from ballet and pointe to jazz and contemporary to hone all of the skills necessary to become a highly versatile dancer. CDI also houses two student performance companies that offer unique and meaningful performance opportunities to our budding young artists. One of our core values is to use the proper blend of disciplined instruction and artistic nurturing to ensure each dancer's correct development. We are also proud to implement a community outreach and scholarship program in our opening year. Maintaining an emphasis on open communication between parents, staff, and students through scheduled evaluations is another essential aspect of our school to make sure every student can establish and attain their educational goals.
