The food is okay. Chips and salsa are pretty good but they use a yellow cheese which is just not my preference in Mexican food.

I have been to Los Arcos twice; I think it's only fair to give a place a second chance; even if I've had a bad meal somewhere, I'll usually give it one more shot. This time, though, wish that I hadn't wasted my time or money. First, describing the service as "poor" would be merciful. On the last visit, or waitress was incredibly inattentive. During the course of the whole meal, I think that she came to the table 3 times. One of which, my father had to walk to the hostess stand and ask for her. Secondly, she was exceedingly curt. No greeting, no smile, nothing. Straight to what do you want to drink? Can I get you a side of attitude with that? She would have been betterl suited to work at the Mrs. Winners or Krystal on Charlotte Pike (you know- one of the places where they can conduct an entire transaction without speaking). Anyhow, they weren't busy either- there may have been 15 or so other people in the place, so it's not like she had anything else to do. Now, on to the food. I had ordered fish. When it arrived, it had been fried for so long that the only thing left was crunchy skin and a few bones. I was able to get almost an entire fork-full of non-charred meat out of it. When she asked how everything was I said it was terrible- she looked at me for a second and then walked off. She never came back-we had to walk up front to ask for the check. Then, they acted like they were going out of their way to only charge 50% for my meal, despite the fact that it was 100% inedible. She also took the opportunity to inform my dad that his beer was buy one get one free. He said "I wish you had told me while we were still eating", to which she responded "at least you will know for next time." As if there will be a next time; I would not go back if it were the last Mexican food place in Tennessee.

I have been driving by many times and I noticed this new restaurant.
I decided last night to come in for dinner at the door I expected a nice
courteous welcome instead I saw nothing of it. The waitress was really
serous and never said welcome or showed any matters...The food
was different and ok... I will really think twice before I show up there again.
