Sergeants Towing Corporate

Rude, disrespectful, unhelpful, apathetic, cynical, indolent, Machiavellian, and miserable. That is just a start a list of words I would use to describe Sergeants Towing Corporation. When I went to their Shaw RD. location to pick up my vehicle, I was met by Greg. Greg literally showed no sympathy towards my situation. When Greg initially showed up, he refused to greet me when I stuck out my hand to introduce myself. While in the office, I cordially asked him questions in regards to the parking policy (as I felt I parked in the early morning, not in the evening), and was met with a short, brash, and rude answer. He told me if I have an issue with the policy that I can take this "paper" and write a complaint. The paper he handed me was for an internal employee complaint.



I asked Greg if there was any chance of reducing the fine, as I found the $340 release fine for holding my car less than 12 hours rather unreasonable, his response was "not my problem". I eventually called Greg out on his attitude and asked him why he was acting this way towards me. This complaint clearly infuriated Greg. It caused him to take off his shield style sunglasses, look me in the eyes for the first time to ask if I had a problem. I told him I felt he was being short and rude to me. Greg acting overly aggressive and defensive, told me he acts this way towards everyone because of the line of work he is in (yikes). After Greg puffed his chest to intimidate, he chose to ignore me for the rest of my stay. Of course I was charged the $340 penalty. This was truly an unfair and unsettling experience. I would truly discourage anyone from using Sergeants Towing. They are awful.

Until the State of Oregon changes the laws and makes predatory towing illegal then you cant fault a company for doing what they can to make money as long as they are within the guidlines of the current laws!! Plus, they are hired bt businesses, Apartment complexes, and property owners that request their services and they themselves decide on their own rules and regulations not Sergeants!! Pay the $7.00-$10.00 to park in a garage or lot and walk a few blocks for f**k sake!!!
