Natal's Air Conditioning

I have a story of honesty that is rare in this day and age. "Mike" of River City Air Express--New Orleans came out a couple of weeks ago for a faulty first floor AC unit, and installed a new one. In the course of checking over our system he made some minor repairs to our other two systems. Then this past weekend, the second floor unit was not cooling. Mike came out on a Saturday (unit was frozen so we had to turn it off and he would have come back again that day, but we were unavailable.) He returned on Sunday. He said the freon was low, which had caused the freezing (a likely leak) and that the expense of the freon would result in likely a $700 or so bill. We felt we had few options, and approved the repair. Mike added the freon and then talked with us. He said he believes the freon leaked out because he did not tighten something back tight enough when he looked at the unit two weeks ago. He said there would be no charge whatsoever, although he knew he would take some head from his boss. Furthermore, he apologized that we had had a couple of warm nights in the bedrooms as a result of his oversight. Who does this anymore??!! We would never have known. You better bet I will be calling Mike back for all our future HVAC needs!!!
