WMGL is a rhythm and blues and classic soul-oriented radio station located in North Charleston, S.C. The station, which broadcasts at 101.7 FM, features music from artists, such as Alicia Keys, Gerald Levert, Ron Isley, Teddy Pendergrass, Roberta Flack, Toni Braxton and Al Green. WMGL reaches more than 150,000 listeners in Charleston, Berkely and Dorchester counties in South Carolina. The station is owned and operated by Citadel Broadcasting, one of the largest radio broadcasting companies in the United States. Citadel, based in Las Vegas, owns and operates more than 115 FM and 55 AM radio stations in 24 states throughout the United States.
