Palmdale Pawnshop The Happy Hocker

This pawn shop is the best ...if you like getting ripped off! Went to sell a 500G PS3 SS which sells for 270 used n 290 new in stores, i was only offered 60$ ...sorry but the way I see it I should take "at least" 50% of retail value where the broker should make 25% profit, not 15% for me n 85% profit for the broker... sorry but this place is crap, a rip off, full of greedy scum... will never go back as I suggest to everyone... just use craigslist or ebay... takes time but you get what money you deserve!
As for the person with the trunk yardsale that thing or post n sell... all this crap shop wants is new items for way below value

I love to go to this shop. These people are open and honest and I have known them from day one. The jeweler is very intelligent and very good with his jewelry. Nicolas, the jeweler went to school to learn his trade after his grandfather, Rick, passed and has continued to keep the jewelry section in great condition. He really knows what he is doing. God Bless you all as the people who work there are great too. If you need extra cash go talk to them about anything you may need to pawn and they will work with you they are very friendly people.

Busy place but friendly!

I went there hoping to learn about an antique trunk I had and I didn't sell it and they weren't interested in buying but the guy I spoke to was very friendly and honest! We didn't even bring in the trunk and they came out and looked at it in our car and he told me it looked like something that had to do with cars and I did some research and sure enough it was! But he was honest with my and told me he would give me nothing but change for it because it looked so beat up and he didn't know much about it. And that meant a lot to me. So they were not only friendly but helpful too.

Also when I walked in I guess one of the customers was saying that he got the wrong change by them or something and they talked with him and said they would review the security cameras and talk to the manage and try to get everything worked out. I don't know if that was the case but from what I heard that's what it seemed like but it was definitely nice to see how the treated the man and how they compromised with him.

The area is the best around this shop but if you don't mind then I would definitely recommend it. They seem to treat their customers very well! Definitely recommended!
