The ER is a joke as well as the doctors and nurses. I took a family member to Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst North Carolina because she was by her doctor to go due to severe head, blurry vision, nausea and high blood pressure. This was explained to the triage nurse. We sat in the ER waiting room for 6-7 hours and heard a doctor says there were empty beds. We finally got back to see the ER doctor and they gave her a shot for her headache and when taking her BLOOD PRESSURE IT WAS.163/127. The nurse said that's not good strokes happen at this B/P. She said that she could not see and was told to leave they needed the bed. Next thing we knew the security guards came and said we had to.leave. We ask about her blurry vision only to be told to re-admit to ER and they'll see.her. We were escorted out by security and told to leave. Drove to UNC AND SHE HAD 2 STROKES THAT WAS WHY SHE HAD HEADACHES AND BLURRY VISION.!

Very unpleasant!!!!! We had an individual with disabilities who had to have surgery and during her stay in the hospital the staff was rude and nasty to her. She was in pain and called for a nurse and the nurse raised her voice at this individual and told her to stop calling for them. Individuals with disabilities are people too. Poor bedside manner!

Excellent nurses, physicians, staff, and facilities! State of the art equipment and care. I highly recommend their services. I have been a patient of the Moore County Medical Community and hospital several times and I have never had any problems. Everyone I encountered was friendly, caring, prompt, and skilled! I am thankful to have such a high caliber medical center within my reach!

This ER is dirty, the doctors only know what a machine tells them ( a few are good), the nurses need a lesson in caring and compassion.
