Hi Tech Boyz

Took my (One owner, garage kept, very well maintained with records) 2008 Honda Civic in for MD inspection. The guy I spoke with over the phone seemed pleasant, which is why I took my car there in the first place.
They tried really hard to extort money from me...telling me that my car failed inspection because the trunk latch does not work. I told them that the latch works perfectly, and that I had locked it with my key to prevent anyone from opening the truck without the key.
After they confirmed that the trunk latch worked, then they told me that the head lamps were a bit foggy, and that the Rubber Bushing in the Front Control Arm were worn out.
First of all, my head lamps were just fine. The idea that they were foggy is just an attempt to charge me to replace it.

I started having problem with the guys when they told me that replacing the Rubber Bushing would cost me 486.00, plus the cost of alignment. So overall, they wanted to charge me over 500 dollars to replace a rubber bushing..ON A HONDA CIVIC
I'm not a mechanic, but I know a little bit about cars. After asking them several questions on why the price was so high for such a small job, then they told me that bushings does not come by themselves, and that the entire control arm had to be replaced.
WHICH I KNEW WAS A COMPLETE LIE!!!
I took my keys, paid them for their inspection work, went home and did my own research.
Apparently, the bushing comes by themselves. Both PEP BOYS and Advanced Auto shops do carry them, and the price at Advance Auto store is under 26 dollars.

I took my car to another mechanic shop to get it re-inspected. I told the mechanic to pay close attention to the control arm to see if there were any issues there. Everything was fine and the car passed with flying colors.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE. SAVE YOURSELF SOME TIME AND HASSLE AND TRY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. These people took my money from my account then tried to force me to sign receipts that did not correspond to the bill and refused to give me my car until I did. When I asked the worker to explain he couldn't and told me that he was doing his job. When I asked him to call his boss for an explanation he said that he couldn't. When I refused to sign and refused to leave he called the police and told them that I was tresspassing. He did all of this in front of my five year old daughter who was terrified and crying.
I have never had an experience like this in my life. I felt abused and taken advantage of and from what I see I'm not the only one. Please don't ever visit this establishment especially if not into fighting or arguing or letting yourself get ripped off. To be continued...

I took my SUV in on a Friday for an oil change. I was told that wrong filter was delivered, at this point I had to get to a previous engagement. I was told that he'd reorder the filter and to return Monday, because I worked on Saturdays and it will be there. I returned Monday only to find out that he never reordered the filter. He called while my Daughter and I waited. The part arrived after about 45 minutes. Again, it was the wrong filter. The young lady went to pick up the part. Finally, after another 40 or more minutes, my oil was changed. That was a first for me. Three days for an oil change!

My service was horrible. Its going on two weeks n i was told 3 diff times that my truck would be ready. First i was told truck would be ready on the 5th, then i was told they needed 300 more after i paid 1,352.00 (that wasnt happening) i was even told after i paid in full that i owe taxes on the total price ( not happening either) then i was told tues 9th it be ready, then i was told Wednesday 10th it def would be ready at 6:30.... When i got here at 6:20 they was closed. My truck is not even on a lift, yet its sitting in the parking lot with the radio out! So now i have to wait till tomorrow to TRY to get my truck. I wouldnt even be as mad if i wasnt lied to, like, why tell me to get my truck after hrs??? This is coming from a woman with two jobs and two kids.... I need my vehicle!

They know their job. Sometimes. I had them change a catalyst converter, and they mounted the old crappy gasket back instead of the new that came along. Not very serious and it cost me another $180 to fix it. On the positive side, they are nice people and you can rent their car lifts to try your own repairs. They also have good prices for exhaust system change. Definitely better than most but not perfect.

I had no issues with mechanic shadiness. Great job guys

I took my four runner in to get some new wheels. I got my wheels balanced and a front wheel alignment. I didn't pay what the competitors are charging I paid less. Thanks guys.

I took my car in to get an oil change and some minor repairs. the service was impeccable it looks as though it's a family owned business the customer service was very friendly and my Mercedes drives better than it's ever driven before.

I have a Nissan Altima and I took my car in to get a quote on some repairs. I was quoted a price and when I went to have the work done I actually paid what I was quoted the service was excellent. As a female you're always leery of what else will they come up with next but I didn't have that problem at this car shop.

Great job fixing my BMW 328. Fast and efficient.

Hi Tech Boyz fixed did some work on my transmission in my Ford Explorer. They did a great job and I it came with a warranty.

Looks like a family owned business. They talk to you like you are a life long friend. I like that. I would trust them to fix any of my fleet of cars. I had them work on my Mercedes AMG. Great work. I plan to take my harley in for a tune up.

I'll admit things started off a little rocky but after talking to the owner he went out of his way to make sure that I left happy. They did fine job on rebuilding my engine to my Porsche. We even worked out a guarantee that I was happy with

I found the shop via the yellow pages. I went to get an estimate for my Porche. They weren't the cheapest but they weren't the highest either. In fact what won me over was the customer service. Before I could agree to the quote I had to have my hubby approve them doing the work. My husband went there spoke with the owner. They talked like they were best friends lol I was like HELLLO IM HERE TOO lol anyway they did a great job on my car. My husband was very pleased as well.

I have a Mercedes Benz. This place came highly recommended. Let's just say I needed A LOT of work. I got a quote . I'll admit I couldn't afford what they were charging me. They literally went down the list and pointed out what was most important to get completed first. At the end of the day I paid what I agreed that I could afford. They were understanding and I didn't feel like they were being shady. Thanks guys.

Great customer service. I had some minor work done on my Nissan Altima. They didn't kill me on the price nor did they take advantage of me because I'm a female with little knowledge about cars other than putting gas in it. Lol

I just left there I hope this review goes through from my phone. Great work. These guys are true car professionals. I got an oil change and I was not bombarded with other work that needed to be done. I appreciated not trying to be persuaded into getting more work done.

I must say they did a wonderful job repairing my vehicle. The customer service was great. They are truly THE GOOD OLE BOYZ!!! The quote provided was what I paid when the work was complete.
