Greek On Cary

We ordered enough food to satisfy the $35 order minimum on a gift certificate, in house dining and a take out order. When it was time to pay, the owner was consulted and we were informed that they did not accept the certificates. I asked to see a manager. The owner came over and said that he NEVER agreed to be on Restaurant com, it was a scam and he had been calling for months to be removed. I have been purchasing these certificates for many years and I have only had 1 other problem with a business. The owner offered us 20% off. After arguing a bit more, I accepted that, canceled my take out. They lost all of my business, my friends, family and we wrote several bad reviews about the way we were treated. Because I canceled a $11 takeout, my bill was almost exactly what it would've been with the certificate.....Not a very smart owner! Bad reviews travel much faster than good ones. The food was excellent and the server was very nice. We would've been repeat customers!
