M3K Automotive L.P.

Everyone I want to share my experience with this company and explain to you why I absolutely DO NOT recommend anyone to use them. M3K Automotive is located in the Woodlands area at 220 Spring Hill Dr., Suite 210, The Woodlands, TX.

It all started back in April of this year, when I had a small wreck in my Slingshot. I was referred to the shop and was trusting that the M3K Automotive and the Owner Raul Leal Aguirre would take care of my Slingshot. I made a claim with Progressive Insurance and they issued me a check for repairs within 2 days. I brought both my slingshot and the check to M3K Automotive, and I checked backed with them on a weekly basis to see how the order for parts was coming along. They would tell me that, everyone says the parts are on backorder and they don’t know when they will become available. This went on for 4 months. I was finally fed up and confronted them about it. It turns out that they spent the $7,000+ on something else and no longer have the money. I was completely floored and couldn’t believe it. So, I filed another claim with Progressive, for theft and also filed a report with the Sheriff’s department, hoping that something could be done about this situation that I am now in.

Progressive denied my second claim and the sheriff’s department had me write a 10-day demand letter. A couple of days after the 10-day time limit, when I went to go get my slingshot at least out of their shop. The owner, Raul Leal Aguirre, wrote me a company check for the full amount that was paid by Progressive. However, as you might guess, after calling to do a merchant check verification, there are no funds there to cash or deposit that check so it would bounce.

The sheriff’s department did interview myself, and the owner and the owner did admit to spending the money. However, since he gave me a bad company check, it is now a situation in which I would have to go after him in a civil suit and will most likely NEVER see the money from M3K Automotive.
