Earth Bistro

Although the staff was not over friendly, the food that was served up was insane! We tried the EB Garden Salad, Vegan BBQ Chicken Pizza, a Grilled Cheese Samdwich, amd Vegan Lemon Cheesecake.



Everything they served was organic and delicious. Those 2 things go together like peanut butter and jelly. We can definitely see ourselves stopping here for a Sunday brunch on a trip to San Diego.

I went to this place without reading any reviews about this business. I find no fault with the food; however, the prices are a little steep (but what you expect shopping within Temecula). The only complaint I have with this establishment is the service.



When I walked in, I was asked if I would like to dine in. I said, Yes. I took one of the to go menu, and found a table for my daughter and me. After waiting 2 minutes and no waiter or waitress coming towards my table, I began staring at the two female waitresses who were behind the counter (not doing anything). It would be approximately 10-12 minutes before one of the waitress would come to take my order, 8 or 9 additional minutes to received the drink, and a total of 30 minutes to have my food brought out to me (if you are wondering, yes, I was timing the service).



I would have completely understood if the place was busy, but there were two sets of customers in the restaurant when we arrived and they had there meals in front of them. Additionally, there were pile of dirty dishes and leftover food at a table across from where my daughter and I were sitting. That should have been my sign to not bother with this place; however, I had already told my 2 year old that we were going to have pizza. Changing the plan would have created a huge tantrum that I just did not want to deal with. So, I waited.



I gave the staff the benefit of my doubt, and assumed that the food was slow to prepare. However, I observed 4 customers (2 sets of people,sitting at 2 different tables) come in after me and was greeted the moment they sat down. Their drinks were brought to them within 2-3 minutes of them sitting down and the the waitress asked them several times if they were okay and if they needed anything.



It was only until I was received the bill when the waitress attempted to seem friendly, and asked me how was everything.



To say the least, I am utterly offended. I am 100% sure that I will never step foot in this establishment.

If you are DARK PIGMENTED like I am, beware of being noticeable ignored at this business.



MY TRUE RATING: 3 for the food, a 3 for cleanliness, and a -5 for the service

Be prepared to spend 40-50 $ for a pizza and a drink ! Place could use a cleaning and workers need training!
