To the Moon

Just saw this. I remember this issue as clear as yesterday. The couple were purchasing candy for there wedding and the groom noticed a 5lb bag of malted milk balls and said wow, I gotta have this, he grabbed it, and i put it in the bottom of the bag, a few weeks had passed and i realized I totally forgot to charge them for it. I did not have contact info for them, so I called credit card company and explained the situation, they said they could not contact them but they could charge them. doing this I figured it would alert them and they would contact me and I would let them know what it was for. clearly they had a reciept and could see they were never charged for this.she then called me and I said oh yes hi, let me explain what happened, as I had no contact info for you I knew that you would contact me and then I would explain this to you, she went insane and called me a thief and how dare I charge her (for something that she took), I was the thief in her eyes even though she had a $50.00 bag of candy for free. I find it funny that she thinks we are the bad guys, she could have called and alerted me. I feel nothing was done wrong and stand behind my decision of a small business owner. I value every customer and treat them all as family. Thank you.
