They are good at finding parts that other stores told me were dealer only. The auto shop side is fast and is great at explaining what my car needs, and I know i can rely on them for repairs that I cant do my self.

worst possible experience

Paid 495$ to repair oil sending unit. Told me they had 12 month 12000 mile parts and labor warranty. Drove 15 miles oil light came on truck said to shut engine off. Nobody wants to drive with oil light on. Took it to nearest Chevrolet dealer about half a mile. Called Napa Wylie spoke to Don. Told him I did not feel comfortable driving the vehicle back to wylie and I'm taking it to the Chevy dealer about half a mile away because I can't afford to have it towed to wylie. He said that's fine he understands bring the receipt for a refund after repairs are made. Come back with receipt and old parts and the owner basically says get lost. Napa would have paid to have it towed back. Why did Don not tell me this? Why won't they stand behind their work? Why won't they honor thier own warranty? Ask the owner all the above and all he had to say was "take me to court".

Overall

One of the most dishonest and unhelpful auto shops I've ever been to. Its family owned so they have no accountability and complaining will get you no where. They installed the wrong battery in my car which left me stranded in downtown dallas in the middle of the night because it of course cause my car to break down, when I brought it back, they charged me for the incorrect battery they installed which was their own error as well as the new one. When I pointed out how the whole matter was their fault and that I should in fact be getting a refund for the wrong batter they put in my car that left me stranded, the manager responded by basically telling me that he was the boss so there's nothing I can do about it. Horrible customer service. Unbelievably unkind people. Just plain thieves.

I would NOT take your car to N...

I would NOT take your car to Napa Auto in Wylie. we took our car in to get new belts put in and they turned around and messed up the water pump and the engine thus, costing $1,000 in repairs. the techs didn't have proper training and the Manager didn't seem to care about our problems and even blamed us for not taking care of the car so we even tried to get a refund of $180 at least for the water pump but the manager said ''no nothing i can do about it'' needless to say, we won't be back and i recommend that future customers stay away from this Napa in Wylie.
