If you are not under an existing contract with them and your system goes out during a busy time, forget about getting service. You will be put on a "waiting" list in which the service tech will call you when he is about 5 minutes from your house. How is this useful to any working person is beyond me. I have had them out several times in the last two years and their service and price has been adequate, but the fact that you cannot make an appointment when they are busy is just ridiculous. Who runs their business like that? I will be finding someone else to service my equipment from now on.

Bad Weather Blessing

In bad weather you don't have time to play around. Clean Air Heating answeared the phone when no one else would for this retired old man in blizzard conditions. I did not know about the specials, the timely service or there attention to detail before calling. Conditions were vary bad and I was the last call of the day and I will never forget it. I highly recommend their professinalism, there honesty and integrity. Call Clean Air Heating for all of your HVAC needs Big or Small.

Fast Service

Having to meet a repair man during a lunch hour can be tricky at times. Clean-Air showed up on time and the problem was resolved in a timey fashion. They did not try to upsale me and treated my property as if it was there own. Highly recommend Clean-Air for your HVAC repair.

Reliable

I have had a service contract with Clean air for 10 years now and i am glad that I took advantage of their offer. I have a vacation home that I use in the fall and it is great to know that i will have heat in the fall visits. Clean Air is trustworthy and reliable to handle big jobs and small jobs like mine. Peace of mind is what they offer me!

I have a rowhouse in Baltimore and got a new A/C installed by Clean Air. Two positive things about them were they offered a very good price on the installation of a Carrier system and the salesman was very knowledgeable about the current rebates and tax credits. However, the tech who did the install seemed to be very low-level and I do not feel he was qualified for the job. A few specific complaints: there were major, obvious leaks in my pre-existing duct system that he did not tell me about, he didn't use the proper procedure (subcooling) to check/adjust the refrigerant charge, he had to call a supervisor to ask about some simple thermostat connections, he did not level the outdoor compressor unit, and he set the air handler fan speed incorrectly because he didn't know tonnage of the unit he was installing.I understand Clean Air is a pretty big company, so I'm sure they have some good techs and bad ones. The tech who did my install was lousy so I'll never use them again.

on time

I had an emergency service call over a holiday weekend and had to call my service rep. He explained that he curently on a job but should arive before 8:00 pm. He arrived 15 minutes early and had the right equipment and the right attitude about the service. If I have a need Clean-Air is the company that I can trust and count on.

My husband and I moved to Baltimore in March. In April, our A/C unit stopped working. It was on that really hot weekend in April (unusual weather from what we hear) we are from Arizona. I found Clean Air on-line and called first thing Monday morning. They were out that afternoon. Turns out....we needed to replace the 15 year old unit. A salesman called the next day and was out on Wed. to give a free estimate. We did get one other estimate. Clean Air had the better price and the salesman was knowledgeable, plus we felt very comfortable with him. We now have a high efficient Trane unit. Clean Air was professional both on the service side and the sales end. I would highly recommend calling them for repair or replacement.

Great Service - Knowledgeable Staff

I moved to the area in February due to my husband being transferred. We love Baltimore! But our a/c unit kicked the bucket on that really hot weekend in April. I found Clean Air by doing a web search, called that Monday morning, and they were out later that day. Turns out we needed a new unit (uggh...what bad luck). But the salesman called us that next morning and two days later we were up and running with a high efficient TRANE unit. I would hightly recommend using Clean Air. They came through in every way, and now we have a service contract with them...just in case!

I had sold our home and two days before the final walk-thru my A/C conked out. One call to Clean Air and within 12 hours my A/C was working perfectly. And I got a really fair, great cost. All of the folks at Clean Air were professional, friendly and EFFICIENT. Thank you Clean Air. I would recommend you to all of my friends.

I contacted Clean Air for a rehab job that I was doing in Canton. The salesman came out and explained exactly what needed to be done. His proposal was clear and the price was fair. He gave me options to choose from... which I liked. I went with a Goodman unit, which I am happy with. I would use them again in the future. Jake W. Baltimore

Good Price, poor service

I used Clean Air to replace 3 old Heat Pump units in a 4 unit apartment building. Overall their price was good, but the service was a bit lousy. In addition, failure to drain one of the units properly caused water damage in one of the apartments.

Absolutely terrible service. See additional comments.

Our 3 yr old air/heat pump bought from & installed by them has required 3 service calls, including the current one, at the beginning of each summer season because the coolent always somehow leaks away; their technicians never find the leak & no one seems to care. When you call for service, no one calls you back; you get the voice mail & must leave a message, which in our case has never been returned. I have had to keep calling back until someone actually answered the phone, sometimes as much as 7 hrs later. Currently, we are on a waitlist of 12 days for an AC service call. If you think you will get any kind of decent treatment because you bought your unit from these people, think again. Unless you buy their yearly service contract,& I can't even vouch for that, once your unit is in, you do not exist. We live in a small group of custom homes & all have had problems with their units & service from Clean Air.
