Delta Movers

Absolute AWFUL experience!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! I was lied to, rudely treated, my personal belongings were damaged, and nothing was done about it. One word for my experience with these people- NIGHTMARE!!!! I would rather sell everything I own and buy everything again at my new destination-rather than deal with these people.

We had 6 things shipped. They said not over 21 business days, but it didn't show up for 26 days. Once our shipment got here everything was damaged and our new tv was gone. When I called to talk to them they were VERY rude. I told her how the motorcycle was scratched up, the breakline was ripped and the licence plate had bees broken off exposing the wires. Her response was, "isn't your bike insured? Call then not us!"

As for the tv, they are not sure where it is. She said she would try to get back to me in about two weeks. I asked to speak to someone else and was put on hold for 30 minutes. Please don't use these movers unless you want

Your stuff ruined and stolen with no help at all.

I can't believe this company is still in business. NEVER use this company. They charged us over double the estimated cost and it took a month and a half to finally get our stuff. The employees were rude and continuously lied about where our stuff was. Worst experience ever.

These are the most unethical unprincipled and dishonest individuals a person could find. They do not honor their contracts in that they:

1. Do not show up for moves

2. DESTROY personal property., My furniture was returned to me covered in GREASE. My antiqur dining room table destroyed, wood torn off, framed prints returned with broken glass and ripped.

3. They had my stuff for WEEKS before returning it to me.

4. When I suspected that things were awry, they told me they would not give me my property back unless I paid them in full. In other words, they would not let me inspect my own stuff! When I told them I wouldn't pay, they said they would drive the truck away and steal my things



These people are vile scum. They will rot in hell for sure

I moved this week with Delta... or so I thought. All my stuff ended up locked up in a storage unit in THEIR NAME. They refused to give me my items until I paid them $6000 cash. I had already paid them $1500 and they stated that my estimate was only $2600. This company is a fraud. I had to press charges as a federal felony of theft against their company and had to get the police to repossess all my belongings. Do not use this company!!!!

they have had our things since May 30th and stil not delivered them they will not tell us where they are. even the sheriff called them and they lied to him. its june 14th now and they still will not tell us when they will deliver our things. this company is beyond bad. this has been a nightmare. We have got nothing but lies and cant even have another mover get our things bec ause they wont tell us where they are BEWARE do not use this company

this is the worse moving company ever! It wasnt until after I had my horrible experience that i started hearing other people with the same complaints from the same company!! Upon showing up to move your stuff they will seem honest... they will inform you that once they hit the weigh station the price they quoted you may change, but that it is unlikely. You will get on a plane and move to your destination and they will call you and tell you that your belongings are 2,000 lbs heavier than expected and in order for them to leave to bring you your stuff, you must pay with a credit card over the phone FIRST! Its a scam...a rip off and they basically hold your belongings for ransom until they suck THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS OUT OF YOU! This company cannot be trusted! They have a strong accent and speak another language and will do so right in front of you and you just know they are talking about you.... Go with Allied, at least they are reputable!

I'm sorry about your bad experence with Delta Moving my experence with Delta moving and there crew. I was too a little worried from hearing about movers in the past from friends and family i came across Delta Moving from the internet i called them and spoke to a Peter Colla who was very helpful and polite he walked me thru the moving process taking my inventory and quoted me a very reasonable price after calling several other moving companys i called Peter to set up a reservation he explained to me that his crew would disassemble and blanket wrap all my furnture free of charge and packed my (baby) 54in flat screen TV free of charge on the day of the move the guys were a late when they arrived they were very apologetic and gave me 2 free wardrobe boxes i would like to thank Peter and his crew who was lead by a professional man named Oscar.

I would use Delta Moving in the furture and recommend them to friends and family.

I had a very bad experience with this movers. The customer service was good at first, but after that it was very bad and they were rude. Please read this note below I was totally robbed by them becoz I took the free 1month storage:Delta Moving Company had conveyed to me that they will pick up items from my house on 12/13/2007 at 9AM. But on the day of pick up, they kept postponing the time and finally arrived on 12/15/2007 at 12.30AM midnight. The movers who came to pick up items were very ncorporative, rude and in a rush to just finish up the pick up. The dispatch manager had promised that their company movers would de-assemble and pack all the items. But the movers who came didn’t do so and just packed the furniture’s in a very careless way in their blankets. The dresser, TV stand, TV & DVD in the TV box, end tables with coffee table were packed by them. They were also aware that there were valuable items in the dresser. In a rush he just asked us to check the items being picked up by them and sign the bill of lading. He then filled the details on “condition at origin” column. We were not aware of this column detail as he mentioned that it is only for company reference. We realized that he has written wrong comments in this column stating “packed by owner” only after discussing with the claim agent. Since all the furniture’s were damaged when they delivered our items, we opened the TV box to check the condition of the TV, right in front of the mover. The LCD TV & DVD were missing in the box and 4 blankets of the movers company were stuffed in the box.The mover admitted that it belonged to the company and informed about it to his dispatch manager.Hence we started checking if there are more items missing and found that the dresser which was completely filled was left almost empty. My wife is supposed to travel to abroad this April and hence we had done a lot of shopping. There were a lot of newly purchased cosmetics, perfumes, watches, jewelry & other valuables. The claim co that represent them are the same, they work hand in hand, so you wont get any reimburement for your loss. Please dont go for this movers and do read the bill of lading before you sign. Never get the free storage, but if you take then have a good insurance to cover the loss. I made a mistake by chossing the low insurance rate and have paid penalty.
