I've been going here for ten years and since the remodeling I've been three times and each time service got worst to stay as kind as I possibly can our latest trip our food came a hour after our order was put in. And the server which was the same as the one who took our order as she halfway Apollogized she told us our food should be still somewhat warm and enjoy the rest of your movie. So I complained to the manager and the reply. Sorry

WORST MOVIE TAVERN SERVICE. The waiters are very slow and incompetent. I had to repeat our simple order of a certain wine about 4 times and I had to actually monitor what the waiter imputed in his handheld device because he kept ordering the wrong thing. After I physically saw him change the order to the correct wine I thought that I would be able to enjoy the movie and have a relaxing time. He brought out the wine 15 minutes later, and because the movie had already started poured my glass of wine and watched the film. Well apparently you need to double check what the waiters bring out because they are so incompetent that they have difficulty following a simple task. When I got the bill the waiter had charged me for the most expensive wine. I told the waiter that I had not ordered that wine and he said that there was nothing that he could do for me. I asked to speak to the manager and he told me the same. There was absolutely no ownership of the fault on their side and they didn't even offer us anything for the inconvenience of having to stay 10 minutes after the movie to settle this. I was very polite during this entire situation, and I would have been less annoyed if even the manager acknowledged that the fault was theirs. After leaving the movie room I heard many of the waiters in a group bad mouthing and gossiping about the situation. In conclusion, there are 2 other Movie Taverns in FW. Why waste your time having to argue and personally supervise these bozos when you could just go to one of the other two and just kick back, relax and enjoy a movie.

I have tried this place a coup...

I have tried this place a couple of times, our luck with it doesn't seem to improve. So we won't be back. Facilities are fine, nothing special. Yes the floors are sticky. The SERVICE once you are seated and waiting to eat... SUCKS. They are quick to take your order, then THEY ARE DONE WITH YOU. Someone else will run out your food, make excuses why they can't get what you need (they will tell your server though) and then your server shows up when its all over with the bill. NEVER will you get condiments, sweet n low, a straw, or refills. EVEN with different servers... uurrggghhhh

My husband and I went to see a...

My husband and I went to see a movie last week. We seldom go due to grandkids and money but this was our splurge-a matinee:) There were no lights on when we entered and there was nothing on the screen so it except for the light strips on stairs it was pitch black. I stepped down and it was a deeper step than I expected so I "fell" into my step and jammed my back. Another patron said she had already complained about the darkness and nothing had been done. She went out again and a manager came in and we had full lighting until the show. I hurt for about a week. To top this off they even made us pay for our food-you would think there would be some effort to avoid the ever looming "american lawsuit".

I will return due to the seating and comfort but will be sure to have a small flashlight in my purse!

A very good concept but food is too expensive.

Bad Service (Go to Bedford or Arlington locations)

I went to see the Last House on the Left showing on 03/14/2009 at 4:45pm. I arrived earlier than the previews so I could see what I wanted to order and put in my order before the movie started (I understand it takes a while for them to cook and serve, etc). So I get there and the lights are off when I am watching the commercials (not previews). I turn on my light so they can take my order and I wait and wait and wait. It took about 20+ min just to finally have someone come over and ask what I'd like to order. I had ordered a salad and the lettuce was all hot (it was not from the chicken...my plate must have just been sitting there in the kitchen for a while). It took over 32 minutes to get that salad. It took another 15 minutes to get my drink...I don't know if they are just too cheap to hire more waiters or more cooks or just both. I just know I am never going again to this Movie Tavern off Hulen Road. I do have to say that the hostess was very cheerful and nice. I think Bedford and Arlington have wayyyy better service than here. I hope the downtown location the open doesn't have as bad service as this Hulen Movie Tavern because I will stop going

Great

Now this is what I call a full service theater. Everyone was very friendly and nice, from the ticket booth to the parking lot. Very nice soft chairs. No waiting in long lines for food and drinks,They bring it to you. you order from your seat, It.s so cool. The movie screens and sound was exceptional great I,ve love it. This is now the only theater I go to in Fort Worth, Texas. A perfect place for everyone and great for lovers

Slow, Confused Employees

Maybe it's because the movie theater is new but both times I've been there I have been unhappy with the "service."
