Resin Composite
First, Dr. Steinberger will prepare the affected tooth (or teeth) surface by applying an etching solution; this helps the composite resin material attach to the natural tooth structure. Next, he will apply layers of the bonding material to the tooth, carefully sculpting, shaping and smoothing it so that it resembles natural tooth enamel. Each layer will be hardened with a special light. Finally, Dr. Steinberger will polish the bonding material so that it resembles the translucence of a natural tooth.
